The Wizard of Oz - I saw it when I was four years old, and I was terrified of the wicked witch and the talking trees.
The Curse of Frankenstein (1957) - My sister and I saw it in my great-grandparents' house when I was in 2nd grade; it was an old house, and their upstairs was dark and creaky, and it scared us for a long time to go up there because of that movie.
Night of the Living Dead (original) - I saw this one late at night with my sister, and we were both pretty scared.
Halloween 1 & 4 - The other entries in the series didn't scare me that much; I still consider parts 1 & 4 to be the best and scariest.
I can think of other movies that have made me jump or kept me riveted to see what came next, but I can't think of many other movies that really scared me in a way that made a lasting impression.
Sorry, but it frightens me that most of you seem to watch movies too early in life.
Watching "Cat People" when you are 8 years old - well, you should be frightened. Watching "Jaws" as a 5-year old kid - well, poor kid. And watching "Mary Shelleys Frankenstein" as a kid - well, you shouldn't have.
Do you people have no parents to prevent you from this "experience"??

Don't judge people I remember watching Predator 1 in my mates house when I was 8 and watching him run out crying, he's a police man now lol.
But you dont know how some people came to watch the films and you have no right to judge people's parents, what did you watch a PG when your folks said ok and a 15 at 15, if you did you lived a very controlled life.
But its part of growing up watching a horror you should not have seen maybe scraying you to the point of no sleep, then lesson learned but kids do it and then go to school talking about it. Liven up
