Least favorite main character

Who is everyone's least favorite main character from The Office?

I love the people who are hating on Jim for the pranks.

Jim and Dwight are meant to be rivals and the pranks are harmless. The basis of their rivalry was that Jim is the prankster and Dwight is the schemer. Their back and forth rivalry throughout the show was an important aspect of the show and helped make the show a success early on. Most of my friends and I who first saw the show, got hooked on because of the Jim and Dwight rivalry. We all agreed that it was almost too hard to watch on because of how annoying Michael Scott was but he kind of grows on you later.

My least favorite character is Andy. His character is wildly inconsistent because it seems like the writers and Ed Helms didn't know what kind of person he should be to fit in. So in the end, Andy was a mess and the entire story line with Erin was all for nothing. When he went for that three month sail and dissed Erin, I didn't want to see his character come back at all.

I totally agree (except when you said Michael grows on you, I hated him all the way). And yeah, people saying Jim is a bully are exaggerating a lot. Dwight (even though very funny) was a total dick and deserved to be put in his place, and Jim did just that.

Absolutely. Andy had like 3 personalities and I hated all of them. Worse character by far. Every single second he annoyed me. I hated Michael too but at least I could occasionally feel sorry for Michael and he occasionally made me laugh. Whereas Andy didn't ever do anything remotely likable or funny besides a couple of scenes trying to court Erin (only to ruin it later by changing his personality once again).

They dragged the whole thing with Erin a lot in a very stupid way. And when it finally happened, it only lasted a few episodes before Andy changed personality again and Pete was introduced. I hated that they dragged it so much and make me root for them only to end it so abruptly and pointlessly.

Worse character ever. Wasn't consistent and annoyed the *beep* out of me.

I cringed every time Meredith had any screen time. Just a completely disgusting person! I found it hard to believe she was supposedly getting all this sex action.

Ryan. More so than Kelly.

Least favorite is Phyllis. She can be very vindictive, and she's the only main character who hasn't made me laugh.

For me it's Post S4 Pam. Yes, its good that she became assertive, but there's a fine line between assertiveness and bitchiness, and she crossed that line a lot.

This has been the Dark Spider

Toby is the worst! 

If we are talking about the original main cast, I'd go with Oscar. There's something about the smug, holier-than-thou attitude that rubbed me the wrong way.

If we're talking about cast introduced in later seasons, probably Nellie. I don't think I ever laughed at any of her scenes. I'm sure she's a good actress, but the character seemed shoe-horned into the Office dynamic (which is actually the case for a lot of the later cast introductions and isn't an uncommon thing for shows in later seasons once they start running out of steam, but it seemed more so in her case.)

Different characters in different seasons - for example - in season 4, when Michael seemed (imo) to be at his 'most Michael-ist' he really pissed me off. Especially when Stanley snapped at him and he handled it by 'fake firing him' in public. I mean, what a stupid way to handle things. I was actually kinda hoping that when Michael emptied the room to talk to Stanley, Stan would just straight up murder him. Like, literally, just choke him to death with his bare hands.
Other times it was Angela, or Ryan, or Pam, or Jim... you get the point. Show did a good job of making each character unlikable at different times.

You're a sick puppy.

I honestly don't understand why more people aren't saying Kevin. He never said anything funny, his character was all about being fat and stupid.
