I thought it was time for a thread for people who actually enjoyed this movie. If you didn't, please don't bother to post here as you will be ignored. If you did feel free to post whatever you liked. (Also beware of spoilers from here on.)

I liked it very much. Found the first half hour to be a little difficult to follow but it really picked up. I LOVED how the forest looked-full of magic and really really creepy. I can say that this movie has the most convincing "enchanted forest" scenes of all fantasy movies.
I also liked how dark this movie was because again, that really sets it apart from Disney-esque fantasy films too. It was full of imagination and this is an admirable trait in films....and not all fantasy films have that trait. That makes it special.

I can see why people hated it, yeah, the special effects sometimes were awful, (gingerbread man, evil horse)
But I like this movie because it has a lot of things I like regardless,
things I like that happen to be in this movie:

Matt Damon, Heath Ledger, Peter Stormare, Lena Headey
also, I liked fairy tales in general and I like the real brothers Grimm,
I liked the settings and the forest,
this movie is considered bad, and yeah people don't like it, This is not one of my favorite movies ever, but, I don't mind watching it from time to time, I didn't think it was that bad

shareI'm just watching it for the first time and I'm liking it a lot! The screen play must have been incredible; the way they have woven the fairy tales in with story an plots is sheer genius.

I really enjoyed this film. Very "out-of-there" but I like that! Loved Heath in this and Peter Stormare was really funny. A bit creepy and disturbing but I can take that. I loved the music as well. I wished I saw this film a long time ago.
I was thinking of seeing it when it came out, but I was 11, and I might have been very scared. Just glad I finally saw it :D

I have actually always liked this movie since I first saw it, and never really got the bad rap it gets.
First couple of times I enjoyed it, but it does lose its way a lot somewhere in the middle of it and seems rather jumbled in places.
Saw it for the first time in years a while back, and enjoy it even more now
One of my favourite performances of Heath's, perhaps my favourite :3
