Has anyone seen similar films to this?

I simply loved this movie, and would LOVE to watch anything similar in style, content or atmosphere with this movie.

Any suggestions?

I'd add the new version of "Tinker, Taylor, Soldier, Spy" it's just excellent.

Infernal Affairs (the original to "The Departed")
City Hall (not about spies but style is the same, just on political level)
Michael Clayton (although not as good as the above two)

I know I'm three years late, but here goes. One movie not named here is Aldrich Ames: The Traitor Within http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0174454/?ref_=fn_al_nm_1a. It also has Timothy Hutton in it.

I dont know if this has been mentioned but TOPAZ - Alfred Hitchcock's 1969 film was also about The Cuban invasion and Missile crisis...agents, double agents, espionage- I always like Roscoe Lee Brownes performance as the Flower Shop guy working with the CIA

Some real good mentions...

Here's one...'Master Spy' with William Hurt (Hanssen) as the spy who sold 'secrets' to the Soviets....I thought it was very good. He sure was an interesting guy in a couple of ways.

And just another one in the spy genre...'Blunt'....a film in the early career of Anthony Hopkins...he plays the part of the Brit art fellow, Anthony Blunt, who hung out with the other Cambridge spies.

The slowness reminded me a lot of Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy, a great film, but one that requires considerable patience. Other films include The Spy that Came in from the Cold, Russia House, the Constant Gardener, Tailor of Panama, and any thing else written by Jean le Carre thats been put into film.

The three films with Harrison Ford as a CIA analyst have similarities, but more action; I can't recall their names, off the top of my head, but they are well enough known you should be able to find them.

Another film that is similar was a story of the founding and early days of the FBI and its early struggles... problem is I can't recall the film's name right now... I'll do a google search and see if I can find it.

I think it was "The FBI Story"

Added:
The Quiet American with Michael Caine and Brendan Fraser perhaps other films based on books by Graham Greene would also qualify, but I haven't seen many.

The American, Michael Clayton, The Ides of March, with George Clooney.
Oh and Burn After Reading if you want something that both spy based and hilarious.

I did not read through all the pages of suggestions, but if you haven't seen it already, you need to drum up a copy of "Cambridge Spies". It was a British TV movie - fairly old now, but it covers the stories of Blunt, McClean, Burgess and Philby, giving a good idea how things were working out on the other side.
