1 Along Came Polly 2 Duplex 3 My Boss' Daughter 4 Marci X 5 Titan AE
In all seriousness, I don't want to criticize "Along Came Polly" *that* bad. It had some funny moments. And if I had a choice of watching a movie like this or Ben Stiller in a drama, I'd choose something like this. But, I wasn't satisfied with how I felt leaving the theater. I think it was the writing. Oh well.
OK, it is very hard to narrow it down to 5, so I am just going to list the worst one I have ever seen.
Master of Disguise: This was the biggest waste of film, time, and money. I only saw it because I took someone to the movies and made the mistake of telling them I would go to whichever one they wanted. Never again!
There may be ones that are worse, but I guess I wasn't dumb enought to acually watch them.
Why does everyone diss Along Came Polly? Sure, the writing sucked, but Philip Seymor Hoffman should have won a Best Supporting Actor Oscar for this role.
now this is a good topic. i would rather chew my right arm off than watch these movies again::
1. The Stepford Wives 2. The Ring 1 and 2 3. Darkness Falls 4. The Grudge 5. Spirit 6. Dukes of Hazzard 7. American Beauty (other than Kevin Spacey's performance this movie was worthless) 8. Star Wars...i couldn't even tell you which one i saw, all i know is i wanted to die the entire time. 9. Maid in Manhattan 10. Little Black Book 11. In Good Company ( i had high hopes, but it didn't deliver)
Baseketball (matt and trey are better than that) Madagascar Sharktale Superman 3 and 4 Batman and robin Hollywood Ending Along Came Polly The Lizzie Mcguire Movie The Pink Panther(2006) Elektra Fanastic 4 Flirting With Disaster Bewitched and the worst of all 2 Fast 2 Furious
Kevin Smith will one day egg Greasy Reese Witherspoons house
The part where Sandy gives his little speech to get Leland insured is total *beep* It would never happen like that. I saw that somebody picked American Beauty, which won a whole bunch of Oscars, including Best Picture. Nominated the same year was "The Cider House Rules", which I think sucked even more. Michael Caine won Best Actor for that film. Still scratching my head over that one.
Oh I thought Scary Movie 4 had some really funy parts in it!! The worst movie I ever watched was one about a killer prom queen but I can't for the life of me remember the name of it - does anyone know, it was kind of a lame comedy/drama/chick flick/horror and all i remember is the excessive, unnecessary amount of swearing lol - tooo much..
1. DATE MOVIE (this was the most boring thing i have ever sat through, I didnt laugh once. It wasn't really spoofing movies, it was just remaking them but making them stupid) 2. Intollerable Cruelty (The pun is old but hell, it was intollerable cruelty sitting through this) 3. Fantastic 4 (2005) (just ruined an amazing fantasy world) 4. Scary Movie 4 (I liked the first 3 a bit but this was just pure poo) 5. From Justin To Kelly (Can anybody say Grease wannabe) 6. Superman (it was just stupid, Gene Hackman was a horrible Luthor, Returns rules) 7. 2 fast 2 furious (his was just a rip of...) 8. xXx (...which wasn't a good movie to begin with) 9. The Tuxedo (though i do like the fact that both Jackie Chan adn JLH think they can act) 10. The Polar Express (just creepy)
Kevin Smith will one day egg Greasy Reese Witherspoons house
the movies that have not entertained me: -Vanila Sky (biggest waste of time and money) -mulholand drive (or any D. Lynch movies) -War of the worlds -Ladykillers (I was waiting for my b/f to finish a job, so to kill time I went to see this movie in cinema. at the beginning of movie there were about 20 people watching it, half way through I was the only one in the cinema) -Saw
1 Titanic when i first heard they were going to make a movie about this i was looking forward to seeing the storys about real people but instead the two main charcters are made up and they throw in some lame hollywood love story. Also it got nom for 11 academy awards.Which proves the oscars are a joke. 2 The Notebook The way they meet and the ending are so stupid. If your over the age of 12 and u like this movie u are a moron. 3 chicago was terrible and of course the academy awards give it best picture. Are u kidding me 4 The Hours is one of the most boring movies EVER but what happens.Everyones like oh wow Nicole Kidman is wearing a fake nose and she made herself ugly.Lets give her a oscar for best actress even though she only had a supporting role. 5 Miami Vice Heres a good idea lets steal the title and characters name from the tv show and make it nothing like the show it doesn't take place in the 80's.Theres no humor between sonny and tubbs. Also Farrell looks like a gay cowboy who sounds like he lost his voice.Jamie foxx is just being himself. Also u have to listen to these morons that are in love with michael mann talk about the gun fight was good.SO WHAT Michael Mann can put a good gun fight in his movies maybe one day he will add a plot.
1. Aquamarine...worst movie ever! But its made for little kids and my stepsister and her friends love it so i guess it works for them... 2. The Notebook-Have to agree with Rube8201...this movie is awful...i dont understand why some people like it 3. Old Yeller- "what kind of sick doggy snuff film is this!?" -Friends 4. Charlie and the Choclate Factory (the new one)- I love johnny depp but in this he made me think of micheal jackson...thought for sure there would be a line like "this is my bedroom lets have a sleepover!!" 5. Dead Poets Sociaty (however you spell)- i saw this when i was little like maybe 9 and hated it...its my dads fave so maybe if i watched it again i would like it
Good choices, Rube. I sorta liked "The Notebook" - kinda cheesy & sentimental, but what can I say, sometimes I like cheesy & sentimental (getting older I guess, or maybe that's wheezy and forgetful, LOL).
I remember watching "The Hours" and blaming myself a little, I mean, this is supposed to be good, what is wrong with me! Glad to hear someone else didn't see the point.
Really agree on Titanic - what a story it *could* of been.
Going Overboard (even though I tend to like Adam Sandler movies) 28 Days was really depressing, but I do usually like Sandra Bullock Calendar Girls Pretty much all the Godzilla movies after the original...if you want to see some bad cinematography Jaws 4...just plain got ridiculous Serendipity (because it was really hard to understand the speech much of the time...couldn't they have at least ennunciated their words clearly for a movie?
