1 Along Came Polly 2 Duplex 3 My Boss' Daughter 4 Marci X 5 Titan AE
In all seriousness, I don't want to criticize "Along Came Polly" *that* bad. It had some funny moments. And if I had a choice of watching a movie like this or Ben Stiller in a drama, I'd choose something like this. But, I wasn't satisfied with how I felt leaving the theater. I think it was the writing. Oh well.
lol.. funny i started watching "my boss' daughter" one day and stopped like right away. I love Ashton but that movie was just terrible. And years ago, i tried to watch "along came polly" but i found it boring and kept getting distracted by other shows and never finished the movie. The rest of those movies i've never even heard about and it's no wonder b/c they don't sound good.
6.Fight Club (one of the most overrated movies ever, annoying as hell...) 5.Ghost Rider (TERRIBLE!) 4.The Astronaut's Wife (love Depp and Theron, but this movie sucked hard) 3.Highlander II - The Quickening (sooo bad...) 2.Eureka (great cast, but the movie is unwatchable) 1.Alien 3 (they *beep* up the series with this one...)
"And if I had a choice of watching a movie like this or Ben Stiller in a drama, I'd choose something like this"
dunno about that comment. Ben Stiller was in Empire of the Sun (a drama), which is a way better film than any comedy he's ever been or will ever be in.
I think this is a decent film, for what it is. Philip Seymour Hoffman and Alec Baldwin are ridiculously great, especially in the boardroom scene. This film is way better than that piece of crap, Heartbreak Kid, yet as I write this, it's got a slightly lower rating.
Also, if your list were a Ben Stiller related list, I'd understand. But if those are the 5 top "movies" you wish you'd never seen of all "movies" you've ever seen, you've definately not seen enough films and will no doubt be revising that list.
No, not "Jeepers Creepers!" It was a very good movie, except particularly that for the part where of the plot where the boy wants to go back to the big slanted tube in the ground. THAT wasn't believable, but the rest of the film hinges off of it. The siblings DON'T assume when that the creature is dead when they run over it the first time (good, no cliche there). The good people did not win (good, not always the winners). These are a few major examples in this film.
