5 Movies I Wish I'd Never Seen List

1 Along Came Polly
2 Duplex
3 My Boss' Daughter
4 Marci X
5 Titan AE

In all seriousness, I don't want to criticize "Along Came Polly" *that* bad. It had some funny moments. And if I had a choice of watching a movie like this or Ben Stiller in a drama, I'd choose something like this. But, I wasn't satisfied with how I felt leaving the theater. I think it was the writing. Oh well.

This was an awfully long list to read, but I did get at least 3/4 of the way down and didn't see one mention of Malibu's Most Wanted. Now, I have to assume this is because it was so awful, that anyone that saw it immediately blocked it out of their conscious being ... if so, please tell me how you did it. I have never seen a worse (recent) movie, and I've seen a lot of movies in the last 10 years.

WORST MOVIE EVER:

MALIBU'S MOST WANTED

Definately the worst movie ever made was The Card Player, boring, bad acted, bad script. Oh my God, after 20 minutes I stopped watching it. Anyway, my list is

1. The Card Player
2. 40 days and 40 nights (come on, what was that all about. I think the makers thought "I'm gonna make the first comedy in history that's not even a second funny". Well, they succeeded)
3. White Chicks (Maybe a little better than 40 days, but come on, not one original joke, and don't get me started about the acting, I expected much better from the Wayans Brothers)
4. The Postman (Boring!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)
5. Alexander (I've seen Braveheart, Gladiator, Troy. Those movies kept me curious and excited from beginning to end. Great acting perfomances by Crowe, Gibson, Pitt. I went to see Alexander and got out of the theatre after an hour. I just expected more from this movie, certainly after seeing Braveheart and the other movies I mentioned. Alexander just didn't keep my attention. And also, Colin Farrel is no Mel Gibson or Russel Crowe to play the unbeatable hero.)

But I did like Along came Polly, it had good, funny scenes with better jokes than oh let's say 40 days and 40 nights or white chicks.

God!!! Mine would have to be Freddy vs Jason.
That is the worst movie ever!!!
Can't agree with The Ring or Along Came Polly - they were both pretty good i thought.

The overall response to this question sends a chill down my spine. The general level of understanding of movies is so mind-bogglingly low that I simply don't know where to turn. A few of the lists actually included truly bad movies, but easily 90% of the movies mentioned are average at worst, and some of them are masterpeices.

It's no wonder that in IMDB's Top 250 movies ( http://www.imdb.com/chart/top ), "Fight Club" is rated higher than "Chinatown", "Taxi Driver", or "Bridge Over the River Kwai".

To make it easier I'm only listing movies that I've seen in theaters because that makes them more painful to watch.

FearDotCom

Van Helsing

Alexander

Bad Santa

The Matrix Revolutions

Isn't seeing bad movies a good thing to warn others of their crappiness?
