Anyone want to share? Mine is pretty random, but for some reason this exchange between Leela and Zapp in Problem with Popplers made me laugh so much I had to pause the episode:
"I've brought a giant hideous ape that looks exactly like Leela!" "That doesn't look ANYTHING like me... The hair's all wrong!"
I don't know WHY that was so funny to me, Katey Segal's and Billy West's delivery is just so perfect.
Off the top of my head, Zoidberg being interrogated in Roswell That Ends Well.
"Why did you come to Earth?"
"Not a day goes by I don't ask myself the same question."
That or "Let's get the hell out of here already! Screw history!"
But those would be just because I watched that episode last night. It'd take a long time for me to actually find my real favorite lines. Zapp's lines would probably be at the top of that list though.
"Off the top of my head, Zoidberg being interrogated in Roswell That Ends Well."
Oh yes!! I remember laughing really hard at another line in that scene, I think it's when Zoidberg says "Are you coming onto me?" and the man is disgusted, but Zoidberg gets all smooth and says "I'm not hearing a no......" hahaha :)
From 'Amazon Women in the Mood' (I'ma just copy and paste from the Quotes section of this website)
Fem-puter: After lengthy femputations, I, Femputer, have decided the fate of the men. Femputer sentences them to death... [everyone gasps] Fem-puter: By snu-snu! Fry, Captain Zapp Brannigan, Bender: Yeah! Woo-hoo! [Kif starts sobbing] Captain Zapp Brannigan: [to Kif] What are you? Gay?
I know it's not politically correct -- no way that line would fly today -- but I'll be damned if it doesn't elicit a hearty chuckle from me each and every time I watch that episode.
Anyone here mentions Hotel California dies before the first line clears his lips.
You might still be able to get a line like that across today, it wasn't exactly phrased as an insult like many of the lines were in 90's tv.
True, but people who aren't paying full attention to the context might hear it and jump to the internet to accuse Futurama's writers of being homophobic, etc. in today's climate.
