Terrible Movie

I didn't wanna watch this movie because I read about it and watched a few clips on youtube and thought the movie's premise and everything were crap. I kept hearing people talk about the movie so I finally watched it and, of course, it sucked.

Reasons why this movie sucked:
Animation is terrible and is just incoherently thrown in the film.
Chick is ugly and wears ugly clothes.
She screams at parts for really no reason or added element to the movie.
Transportation, the fact that such inventions exist and she doesn't use them. (she even could have asked for a ride at one point)
She doesn't get tired from running.
She is in a huge hurry but will stop to have a vague conversation that takes longer than her running.
The dialogue in the movie is terrible. The Plot is terrible. The Premise is terrible.
Telephones, the fact that such inventions exist. (she can't call her dad?)
Random flashbacks with the polaroids that have nothing to do with the plot.
She bets $100? and wins $3,700 dollars, then bets that and wins $100,000. (Doesn't make sense. Even if it was multiplying by 37 it would be $136,900) PS- The odds of this are ridiculous.
The fact that she has 20 minutes to run somewhere, argue with people, get 100,000$, run back. Who the hell is going to give this crack whore any money?

And the most retarded thing of all -Guy gives the bum a gun at the end? Wtf

I'm leaving out tons of other reasons why this movie is bad because there are too many to list and/or I just forgot them because I put this movie into the storage part of my brain to be rewritten asap.

I totally sympathize with you SpoR-One, I would have rather sat infront of the tv with the television turned off, and watched the blank screen for 75 mins, than hurt my eyes watching this gay-flick.

As you've probably already discovered, the majority of participants that post messages are not the most intelligent of individuals around. It's the same as general society, you have the majority of people in one class (e.g., Upper Class vs. Lower Class, the majority of people fall into middle/lower class or middle to lower income, which is why Walmart is so successful -that's not to say that upper class or high income earners don't shop at Walmart either, but you walk into any Walmart and the majority of people you see are in the low to mid-low income type of people -- I'm not being discriminatory here, it's just a fact. Another example is education - you've got a few good universities/schools, and then you got a boatload of crappy schools and community colleges). Same as on message boards, you'll have a few people that are quite intelligent and the majority will be of a lower-caliber.

Just because you think you're intelligent doesn't make it so, I'm afraid.
The fact that you don't seem to know that tv and television are the same thing speaks volumes of your mental capacity.

I'm afraid I don't have the words to counter the cheer brilliance of your fine and obviously thoughtful criticism of this movie.

I agree on a few things with the OP. But I didn't feel any of those that intensely.

For one, Franka looked kinda' hot to me.

I was left quite disappointed with this movie. The premise was GOOD, it could've done much better. Some stupidities bogged it down at places. And it did'nt feel like an 'adrenaline rush' movie at all. It did just OK for a film with such a taut script.

The animation is meant to be very basic and simple. If it had been CGI or some such, it would have looked too slick and perfect. The themes and emotions of the film are supposed to be guttural.

Yes, she should have big hair and big t i t s. No woman is worth looking at unless she fits the Hollywood fomula of beauty. . .cause. . .if you can't jerk off to a film, what's the point in watching it?

Do you have a car? Have you used public transportation? Using a bus or subway means waiting for it to arrive, load passengers and be off. That wastes time.

She doesn't get tired from running.
Yes, she does. It just doesn’t stop her. She’s tenacious which is another main aspect of the film you obviously didn’t get.

I'm guessing you probably watched the dubbed version (the dumbed-down version) because you were too lazy to read the subtitles. Takes a lot out of the film.

This is one of the most creative movies in terms of storyline, camera angles, and music integration. The film has a pulse all its own, which is hard to find in any movie, period.

If you didn't like this movie, you watched it from the wrong perspective. It's a masterpiece of film.

All you did was cry about things that were barely relevant
to the actual themes of the film, which is why you are watching
it.....not because of the animation or if she is ugly.....
