Thought she struggled to convince at times, at had to make this post as I was amazed she was nominated for best actress.

FANTASTIC movie though, I thought Streep was good, but nothign special.

KEVIN BACON RULES!! He is the king of creepiness.

I don't assess acting on whether it's "convincing"--what the heck is it trying to convince me of? But I liked Streep a lot in this.

That the character is experiencing the emotions the actor/actress is trying to portray, what else?
