1) I hated the Donna virgin story line. No guy I know would have dealt with her BS. Why would any guy go out with her, especially in college. Any guy in college, unless it was for some religious reason, who was not having sex got ripped on. I was happy when David cheated on her with Ariel.
2) Did not care for the whole Rush/Steve story lines. Yeah sure Steve wanted his daddy's approval and Steve always seemed to fk up every opportunity his father gave him. Also, Rush is Steve's biological father? REALLY! That is the past you choose with that story line?
3) After Dark was lame. There is not one club I know that would EVER have someone like Ray Pruitt perform. He is your typical dive bar singer. That club would not have lasted long.

The saddest part is I think the guy who played Ray Pruitt was trying to use this show to launch a music career? Like "I played at the After Dark, this really cool club that everyone went to on Beverly Hills 90210. Do you remember that show? Yeah my character was a jerk but I got to showcase my career as a singer/songwriter."

that donna martin was never a virgin. c'mon. clearly it was just a ruse she played on the gang. should have had the in the finale a scene when the padre asks if there are any objections to this marriage...
and 4 children rush the alter.
along with 4 different fathers: pruit pumpkins, rose bowl joe, willie, and muntz.

I said I didn't particularly like Claire but I'm rewatching the middle seasons and I'm okay with her in Season 5. I guess I only remembered her annoying side, like her desperation with Brandon in the beginning and then later how she acted with Steve.
Plus I've seen S1-S4 more times than the rest of the series, so there's that.
I love the first season and it's my favorite. I really like the afterschool special aspect and the fish out of the water theme with the Walshes adjusting to Beverly Hills.
Val was a great addition to the show. She was a perfect replacement for Brenda.
A popular opinion, actually! At least from what I've seen on the internet. People love Val.
Early Dylan/Kelly suck, but by season 9 and 10 they work.
Really? I'm the opposite. lol. I think they get worse beyond Season 3.
Cheating aside, I understood why they meshed in Season 3 even though he picked Kelly by default. They dealt with the same issues, he liked that she could be around his father, and by that point in his life, he wanted/needed something easier (dealing with the Walshes took a toll, and Brenda had a bad habit of breaking up with him).

Donna was my favorite character. I never really liked Brenda at all... I cannot put my finger on why. All the guys looked unattractive. Valerie and David were a great couple. I liked the storyline about Tara. It was crazy but so much fun.
