1. Raiders of the Lost Ark
2. Aliens
3. Batman
4. Ghost-busters
5. The Thing

Well, first delete Ghostbusters" and "Batman" from that list. They don't belong in the same list as "Raiders", "Back to..", and "Aliens".

I rewatched Batman(1989) recently and you are definitely right, it's basically unwatchable now.

Good Question OP

It is not my Favourte movie of the 80s, not even in my personal top ten, but I think it has a Very Strong argument to be seen as one of the best of the 80s, if not the Very Best.

Much like the Beatles can be seen as the Best Band of The 60s, even if I would prefer other bands, etc.

The cultural impact BTTF had, and still has is SO strong, and really stands up so well today.
