I think he only had one hit movie he was starting to become desperate he really was going downhill in my opinion.
Kubrick made some outstanding movies, he could take a subject or screenplay and paint it like an artist more than any other director in the history of cinema. I don't like a lot of his movies but my god, he invented a ton of techniques that would still be in use today if it wasn't for the fact that cinema truly sucks nowadays.
Kubrick was the cutting edge for a couple of decades. One of the greatest directors of all time.

Yes, he screwed a few of them..or at least got the hummers he liked.
One ex angel complained Benny treated her really awful after he found out she got pregnant by her boyfriend. Also, Benny didn't deny that he played around with the Angels, he was rather proud of it.
He also went to Spain and France a lot he spoke several languages heck the reason Benny got into show business is he knew it was a way to get hot chicks. Smart man.
