In the re-make cast Keira Knightley as Elise!
I think she would be perfect in the role. Anyone agree? Disagree? Which actress would you like to see in the role for a re-make?

shareThis movie can't be remade..if it ends up being remade I will boycott it and hope that so will everyone else. This movie is a classic..a cult classic that stands the face of time..the chemistry between Jane Seymour and Christopher Reeve could never be done again..besides I think the remake in my opinion has already been done..the 1997 version of Titanic with Kate Winslet and Leo DiCaprio.
shareAbsolutely not! This is one film that if a remake were done it would fail in comparison! Jane Seymour and Christopher Reeve were excellent as Elise and Richard! There is not a soul on this planet that could do justice to this film by doing a remake! Jane and Christopher were so believable In this movie and nobody could ever compare to them! Rest in peace Christopher.

You are supposed to want to go back in time to meet her. I wouldn't cross the road for KK.

They both have some things in common:
* English.
* Pretty.
* Flat chested.
Jane Seymour has admitted to breast augmentation. Keira complains about hers being boosted in cosmetic adverts.

It's not "sci-fi", it's SF!
Why is there always talk of remakes? I think this film is a very good example of what does NOT need to be remade. It's great the way it is - the charm it has CAN'T be remade and why would you even want to see it attempted? I just don't get the way some people think.
shareAgree Westal!
I will never understand, and failure after failure of remakes doesn't seem to slow Hollywood down. I can't understand how with all the literature in the world that has yet to be adapted, they seem to keep going in circles coming back the the same ideas. It's a vicious cycle, and I for one wish they could break it.
I wish I had a time machine
How about making about a movie just as good as this with a different story? it can even be similar. I would love to see a movie as good as this again! And Keira Knightley would be great!
...even in a valley without mountains the wind could still blow.
I'd like Catherine Zeta Jones as Elise.
