Goodfellas vs taxi driver vs raging bull

taxi driver has to be the strongest movie i have ever seen. I mean ive seen Rain Man, Bucket List and those kind of happy movies but taxi driver leaves an impact. Its not my favorite movie but it has to be De Niro's best. This is just my opinion. I really want to know your justification for which De Niro classic is the best and why

I'm not sure I can compare Goodfellas to the other two. Goodfellas is better if compared to Casino, and there I think I prefer Goodfellas, but it's close.

Raging Bull and Taxi Driver are actually very similar. Both films show the "protagonist" who is a psychopath, and the fall through even worse psychological damage. I can't pick one above the other though. I love Taxi Driver so much, but the Raging Bull also shows years of change, which really puts it up there with Citizen Kane. Both movies are equally good. Scorsese is such a good director.

i love all three, but raging bull, without a doubt.

Taxi Driver is a masterpiece. The others are enjoyable films but they do not have depth and they lack the narrative development that Taxi Driver had.

These 3 films, along with The Godfather, are the films I consider to really be masterpieces. It's hard to determine which one is the better than the other but I have it like this:

1. Raging Bull
2. Taxi Driver
3. GoodFellas

For me, Raging Bull is a very important film, as I believe I can relate to it more since I box. However, it's a film that took so much effort to make and was done to perfection, as Scorsese believed it would be his last movie. I don't think I've ever seen more intense acting and displays of emotion than I have in Raging Bull. Anger, jealousy, paranoia, desperation, hysteria, regret... all just some of the things that are displayed perfectly in Raging Bull. Taxi Driver and GoodFellas are both classy films with wonderful elements, but Raging Bull just stands out in my opinion. The greatest film ever made in my eyes.
