15, from Australia. My mum bought me the complete yes, minister and yes, prime minister box set, and ive it all many times. I love it

I'm also in Australia and am 43 now but must've been about 15 when I started watching it during its very first Australian screening. (I was a fan of the Good Life and followed Paul Eddington into his new show, which turned out to be even better!)

29 from Germany and loving the series. A friend from Zagreb told me about it and gave me the DVD Box as a gift. A day later Yes, Prime Minister was ordered ;)

I am 39 and I was 11 in 1981 when it first ran on danish television.
My sister I were always playing badminton mondays up to the time when it would be broadcast, and we would often catch the first 5 minutes in the lounge area of the sports hall then catch the last bit when our father had picked us up. Later on a rerun we'd see the whole show with the minutes we were without.
We had nothing like this on danish television and this show was and still is a gem. I like it in the ranks of the first 3 seasons of Black Adder. The 4th was never my cup of tea, but the Minister held up trough both incarnations.

I am 24 from the US. I just started watching "Yes, Minister" on PBS about a month ago and am slowly becoming more addicted

Im 29, started watching this year. I remember it being on in the 80's and my parents howling with laughter at it, but the jokes went way over my head. I love it now and always watch it after work. The dialogue, acting and believability of the situations are incredible. The three main characters are all my favourite actors of all time, even though Derek Fowlds went on to do Heartbeat, which is loathsome!

39 and grew up on it, even as an 11 year old, used to be the last thing me and my sister would be allowed to watch before bed time, totally loved it. Watch the DVD's prob once a year, brilliant everytime.

I'm 19 and I'm from the Czech Republic.

I remember watching this series as a child on TV and I loved it. Though it was a dubbed version - I couldn't understand English then anyway. Now that I can understand English I decided to watch it again (in English) and it's even funnier! This series is brilliant in every way.

I'm 43, from the US. I first discovered the series in college, when I was about 19, on A&E. At that time, it was essentially a cable version of PBS and featured many British comedies on the weekend, including:

Yes Minister
Balckadder I and II
Butterflies
Solo
Last of the Summer Wine
The Fainthearted Feminist
Father, Dear Father.

Meanwhile, the local PBS station featured Dr. Who, various detective programs on Mystery, dramas on Masterpiece Theater, and Fawlty Towers and Monty Python on the weekends. Then, MTV added the Young Ones. It was a great time for tv viewing, in between studying (and that was an easy excuse to stop studying).

20 from Ireland, Yes, Minister was always on the periphery of my sitcom radar as my Mam and Uncle were massive fans when it originally aired and watched it whenever it was on. But recently we got Sky plus and the Gold channel and now it's on every Sunday!! So I have followed in the family footsteps and fallen in love with it just as I did with Allo' Allo and Dad's Army as has my bro!!

I'm 54 and I'm in St. Louis MO. I saw the series in the first run and thought it was brilliant! I've got the who series now on DVD, and it's one of my most treasured possessions.

I'm 32. I remember watching as a child with my father, with him almost rolling on the floor laughing.

Have become a life-long fan.

'Party Games', 'The Key', 'The Tangled Web' are amongst the finest episodes of any show ever made in the history of television IMHO.

I'm 23 and first started watching it a couple of years ago on GOLD. It's now one of my all-time favourite series and I recently purchased the boxset! :)

And in response to the poster above, I agree those three episodes are all outstanding ('The Key' is the one that I love the most).
