was anyone else amazed at the child abuse in this movie... there were several times when i was simply shocked.
i know it was made in the seventies... but WOW i just watched it for the first time last week and i was stunned.
what did you guys think?

One of the reasons I didn't play Little League growing up in the '70s was that I didn't want to deal with sadistic coaches then have to get insulted by my parents. I couldn't take a dump without at least one of my parents telling me that I did it incorrectly. When I was a kid it wasn't called abuse. It was called PARENTING.
I'm not seeing any abuse in this movie. The kid that got slapped deserved it for trying to bean the kid in the head.
