Do you think Marlon was hot in Streetcar?

Somebody posted on this board that they challenge any woman to watch Streetcar and not think Marlon was sexy. Well my mother did and she didn't find him sexy. I don't agree with her but there you go. No matter how hot somebody is you can't please everybody.

It is obvious that Marlon had something about him. This was the film that launched his career afterall.

One of the points of the story of Streetcar is that Stella puts up with being in an abusive marriage because she is so attracted to Stanley that she can't leave him no matter how he treats her.

He is the sexiest man in film history and best actor of course. And when you add his intelligence and goodness he is *beep* genius.

God yes!

In fact I can't believe that film was not censored further. He is virtually always sweating, in a tight t-shirt and eating. He is completely animalistic and crudely sexual. When he drinks the liquid typically splashes all over his lips and chin. I'm enthralled watching the means by which sex was conveyed in a time when it was not permitted to be shown.

I saw the uncensored version where Stella runs her arms down and across Stanley's back when he's wearing his ripped t-shirt. Never has a scene been more erotic and sensual.

Hell yes.
Especially in the scene where he reveals that he knows about Blanche's past.
There's just a latent, brutal don't-mess-with-me quality that had me drooling!

As a straight guy I'll proudly say that Marlon Brando was hot in this film, and probably more sexually imposing than any other character I've seen on screen. It's the kind of sexuality that I think any straight can look at and wish they had. Oh course we're speaking totally physically, because his character was a complete jerk.

Marlon Brando was perfect looking. He obviously looked smokin toned. I like his natural body type anyway. He also had very nice smile. Oh well if person does not care for his looks. There is someone out there for everybody.

He was gorgeous in this movie! Disgusting character, but his looks and body just cannot be denied!
