Colorized or Black and White?

I myself like both..

It doesn't matter if technology is developed to make it look as good as authentic Technicolor. It doesn't matter whether it was made in black-and-white because of budget constraints or because of an artistic decision. It's just wrong to tamper with the way the director, lighting director, cinematographer, set decorator, and makeup artist made the movie.

A downside of the colorized version, you can see how messed up young George's ear is after Mr. Gower hits him. But otherwise it's fine.

I watched the colorized version for the first time last night. They did a pretty good job with the coloring, I noticed some details in the background that I never caught before. I was surprised Mary's wedding suit and hat was gray, though. Should have been white, cream, or a soft pink.
