I'd say so. I never really got the Lea Thompson hype.
shareAbsolutely! She elevates everything she's in. Zombieland: Double Tap, for example – that went from a 3 out of 10 to at least a 6 or 7 after her character showed up.
Buffaloed is another good example of her talent. She was charismatic as fuck with great comedic energy in that film.
Beauty is subjective. However her mother is a far more talented actress.
Lea has been in a lot of good films: Red Dawn, The Wild Life, All the Right Moves, Article 99, Nightbreaker, Some Kind of Wonderful.
She was also the best thing about Jaws 3, Beverly Hillbillies, Dennis The Menace & SpaceCamp.
I watched 5 mins of one of Zoeys films (buffaloed) and turned it off. I'm not a fan of the newer generations of actors (from the 2000s onwards). I feel they lack the screenpresence and talents of the actors who were established in the 80s and 90s.
