A person that desperately narcissistic would certainly try to get money out of it somehow along the way. That she hasn't makes her all the more credible. Taking into account the Allen's verified creepy and questionable behavior & Dylan maintaining her story (with supporting witnesses) without any inconsistencies or clear motives to lie makes her perhaps the most credible high profile sexual abuse victim I know of.

Jeez. Why are you typing in all caps? It's very much an eye sore. In any case Dylan Farrow's claim is a lot more straightforward & believable. She also has very credible first hand witnesses, directly related to Allen.
Given Woody Allen's creepy, questionable behavior. Marrying one of his adopted daughters (That she wasn't "legally" adopted by Allen doesn't make it less creepy)
and other inappropriate behavior (climbing into their bed at night in his underwear and making Dylan suck his thumb. Major WTF) mentioned by another one of Allen's now adult children. I feel bad for Dylan Farrow but at the end of the day Woody Allen isn't the only Holyweird pedo being protected by the corrupt industry.
She doesn't need money. She's already rich from Mia. I don't think it's a stretch; maybe she convinced herself that the lie is true because now she's someone "important" rather than just a noone who lied about a legend.

Her brother Moses believed it, until he was old enough to question it; now he's firmly on Woody's side of this issue & has stated that Mia essentially implanted the whole story in their young & malleable minds, as far as he's concerned. Remember, they were just small children at the time, not unlike the McMartin School children, or many of the other 1980s Satanic sex abuse case that turned out to be generated by well-intentioned investigators … who believed the most horrific & fantastic stories themselves, even to the point of reality-defying absurdity.
Our only honest response to this particular story is that we just can't know what the truth of it is. But a preponderance of evidence does seem to support Woody. No other accusers have ever appeared, unusual in pedophile cases, where there's always more than one victim. And until or if some solid evidence does appear, I still have to go with innocent until proven guilty.
And if the story does turn out to have been implanted, then Mia's the abuser here, not Woody.
I read an article awhile ago which basically said, "Okay, so if we're supposed to believe the victims, why do we believe one victim (Dylan) over the other (Moses)?"
I'll try to find it back, but that was essentially the thesis. I thought it was a fair point.
It's baffling to me that people who demand Woody's head completely ignore Moses and his statements.

share I agree. And I cannot believe how the world has become - finger-pointing, taking sides of supposed "victims", despite
lack of proof. As for The-creepy-blonde-one, Allen is NOT his father. Frank Sinatra has that distinction (and Mia herself has
hinted at it, with great, SICK, gloating comments).
This is not the only ridiculous case to go to Nazi-like extremism.
Last year, a weather forecaster, who had worked at his TV station for many years, warned of rain near Martin Luther
King Jr. Park. He was talking fast, and said something to the effect of, "and for those of you strolling through martin
Luther Kun-King Park..." It was said so fast, he himself didn't even realize the goof. It was a Friday. He went home,
only to have the black female mayor demand he be fired (didn't she have more pressing matters to attend to?), and
thousands calling the station, demanding he be canned. On Monday morning, he was fired, with the (cowardly)
manager caving in to public "mob mentality" and stating "this won't be tolerated at this station." He was also
fired because he didn't apologize for the (obvious) error right after. When the meteorologist was interviewed by
his wife, he explained it was a slip of the tongue, and despite years on the station (and no other history of offensive
comments), he remained fired.
I watched the tape of the mistake on Youtube, and even a four-year old would recognize this man (barely) made
a mistake. I was sick to my stomach.

There is no proof that Ronan is Frank's son. Yes, he looks more like him than Woody, but still. Maybe someday he'll have a DNA test. Anyway, the update is now that the publisher just caved to pressure and they are "pulping" the book. I hope Woody can have it published by someone of courage and integrity that this one obviously lacks!

(without anyone bugging her about it) that Frank was Ronan's father. Mia had on-again, off-again affairs
with her elderly ex-husband.
As Allen has pointed out, she mentions the huge age-gap between Soon Yi (you know, her "disowned"
adopted daughter) and Woody, but conveniently forgets that she was TWENTY when she married
twice-divorced FIFTY year-old Sinatra.
Yes, Woody and Frank were not the first celebrities to marry girls much younger than themselves. But in both cases the women were adults, if in Mia's case 19 is considered that.

It's actually rather ironic, all the discussion of her age, because even SHE does not know her exact age. She was an abandoned child wandering the streets when she was found. The court gave her a birth date. They presumed that she was six.
Who knows? She may have been older. She was eating through garbage cans and obviously malnourished. Malnutrition stunts growth and development.
