Can someone recommend a revenge film that’s ultra violent, not politically correct and caters to the male gaze? Preferably shot on actual film, released in the 70s - 80s and the country of origin is not the USA?

Thriller(A Cruel Picture) made in 1973 in Sweden. It's a rape revenge movie if that describes what you're looking for.

The Virgin Spring might be the granddaddy of them all. It’s Swedish, directed by Ingmar Bergen but it came out in 1960. The Last House On The Left borrows heavily from this plot line.
Straw Dogs (71) was filmed by Sam Peckinpah but was shot in Cornwall England.
Both are very good.
8/10 for Straw Dogs but I’ve never seen The Virgin Spring.

I’ve never seen the 6 films of lone Wolf and Cub, but I did see the movie that’s a mixture of them. I especially liked the soundtrack.
Edit: I just remembered that the one I saw was called Shogun Assassin.

And since I can't resist, throwing out Greenaway's The Cook, the Thief, His Wife & Her Lover (1989), though you've probably seen it.
