I believe that is correct, but the Biden administration is WAY too weak to hold the ChiComs accountable. Besides, he's in
their pockets after all the corrupt Hunter Biden deals.

The Biden administration is the only one strong enough to be investigating this. Trump had his bank accounts in China and paid taxes to them though.

well , yeah , its been a bit of a big deal to be sure lol

but , you know , "bio weapon" you expect i nice incubation period for spreading , followed by coughing your insides out and death at a high % ... in the movies
but im no tactician,

also , if I were designing a bioweapon to wreak disease on my enemies .... i'd have a cure available for my own team.

for bioweapons they usually make 2 similar strains a weaker one that they inoculate their own people with and another they release with higher death rate.

covid had 2 strains to begin with an L and S.

Actually, only the country that let it out of the lab and then lied about it would be culpable. That would be China. When Trump said it was a leak from the Wuhan lab, he was mocked and ridiculed. Turns out, as in most cases, Trump was right.

Perhaps because it was his operation to leak it. Trump also mocked the virus as a hoax and mocked bioweapons expert Francis Boyle who has said all they are finding now over a year ago.

The WHO said it wasn't but I believe it was. The lab is right there in wuhan. We are just lucky it wasn't something even more deadly than covid..... for now at least.

that is interesting, probably germane to an inquiry of origin, but it does not establish the assertion in the OP.

i do agree that it, in the absence of concrete information on a solid timeline for the onset of the first infections, does support that inference.

but we should speak carefully about this question. and in the event that this covid variant was produced in a lab, there would in that event raise all sorts of questions about intentions, protocol.

but all that remains yet to be seen.

It almost doesn't matter if it leaked from a lab or from a bowl of Bat Chowder.

The Chinese knew they had a major outbreak on their hands and acted aggressively to seal off Wuhan from the rest of China, while allowing people from Wuhan to travel internationally in the full knowledge that they would be seeding the planet with this horrific plague.

On top of that, they either slow-walked or denied critical information to the world scientific community (that is, when they weren't just outright lying).

There must be a reckoning.
