it depends.

are you saying that you don't care for being around people, for daily interactions? cuz that's fine. i don't particularly love being around people myself, and generally live in isolation. people are different, and we're entitled to our preferences.

but if you mean you hate everyone and don't care if people suffer and die and don't care about human misery, i'd say that's pretty bad, &...not that i'm the person qualified to say such a thing...might warrant talking to a pro. maybe.

I mean, I'd like to care about people and how they're suffering, but deep down inside it's kinda hard to try to feel for people. I don't hate anyone, though.

I do have a therapist...maybe I should talk to him some more....

I think we're overwhelmed with information these days about everyone's problems, poverty, violence, etc..I'd say about 10 years ago I just started finding hard to sympathize with anyone.

We are daily bombarded by appeals to feel. Don't be discouraged by being desensitized. We drive 2ooo+ ilbs of steel around at rocket speeds, narrowly missing each other and nary a pulse raised. Psychological survival mode. Don't be too hard on yourself.
