Loving your pet....
I have such an amazingly intense love for my cat Boots and I know I will never feel that way with any person/ human in my life. Our bond with each other is indescribable. Does anyone feel the same way about their pet?

shareYes, absolutely. I gave up on most human connections years ago and Poppy is my sweet little shadow. Where I go , she follows. Quite a little talker too. I'm home recovering from knee surgery and she's been especially loving and concerned.
shareThat's so wonderful of Poppy. I know that whenever I'm sick, my cat Boots will curl up next to me and purr and her purr will relax me. She is the best medicine for sure!!
shareThe love one feels for their pet is always gonna be different than the love you feel for your children or your Significant Other. It's all about the bonding. I love my dog Domino, but I also love the fellow humans in my family too, just in a different way.
shareYes, I agree. It's love in a different kind of way.
shareI love my cats but just tonight one of them dragged in a baby bird. It was still alive when I noticed and I drove it to a wildlife rescue drop off location in my area but it died on the way there and really saddened me.
shareFunny you should mention it, just this week which has been one of the most traumatic Iโve experienced, I really began to appreciate how much my pet means to me. Without wanting to be melodramatic, you could say heโs saved me from going over the edge. Thanks Ninja ๐พ
shareThat is true. Sharing a rough night with a cat has been a relief for me too.
shareI agree with you. My cat has been a source of comfort for me too. Animals are amazing!!!!
