Cheesiest one-liner in a movie.

Spider-Man (2002)

Green Goblin: "What about my generous proposal? Are you in or are you out?"

Spider-Man: "It's you who's out, Gobby. Out of your mind".

reply

arnold has a way of making every line cheesey here:

reply

Didn’t he say “eatings not cheating?”

reply

To be fair, his first language is German.

reply

After all this time (he's lived in the U.S. far longer than Austria) he still has trouble pronouncing...https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R6IQRbEtXlQ

reply

Cullyfornia.

reply

According to Obama, it's Austrian. ;)

reply

He really said that?

reply

Some other cheesy Arnold one liners though not including Batman and Robin since all the lines in that movie would be on here.
"Hey Light Head! Hey Christmas Tree!"
"Was Sub Zero! Now Plain Zero!"
"It's show time!"
"Scrreeeeeewwwwwwwwwwwwww yoooouuuuuuuuuuu!"
"Ruggy Baby Buggy Bumpers! Hah! You didn't know I was gonna say that did you?"
"Sure. Here's my invitation."

reply

Dang. You got to mine first. I was going to go with the sub zero line.

reply

Road House (1989) has some awesome lines that could have only worked in the 80's.

Jimmy: I used to fuck guys like you in prison.

Steve: Being called a cocksucker isn't personal?
Dalton: No. It's two nouns combined to elicit a prescribed response.
Steve: What if somebody calls my mama a whore?
Dalton: Is she?

Dalton: I want you to be nice until it's time to not be nice.

Wade Garrett: That gal's got entirely too many brains to have an ass like that.

reply

The sad thing is that the writer thought that was good banter.

reply

I have a feeling that there was more than usual amount of snow around during the making of that film!

reply

Pain don't hurt.

reply

I love that one. It is a fun film but definitely leave your brain at the door.

reply

It's the greatest line ever recorded on film. Road House is incredible how awesome, silly, and violent it is. I love it. Wade Garrett is what I aspire to be (except not dead).

reply

"Love means never having to say you're sorry" - Love Story (1970)

"Pain don't hurt" - Road House (1989)

"If I can change, and you can change, everybody can change" - Rocky IV (1985)

"Are you a Mexi-CAN or a Mexi-CAN'T?" - Once Upon a Time in Mexico (2003)

"It's like looking in a mirror, only not" - Face/Off (1997)

“Is it still raining? I hadn't noticed”- Four Weddings and a Funeral (1994)

"Flash, Flash, I love you, but we only have fourteen hours to save the Earth!" - Flash Gordon (1980)

"We're going to live on! We're going to survive! Today we celebrate our Independence Day!" - Independence Day (1996)

"You can be my wingman any time" - Top Gun (1986)

"Let's kick some ice!", "Ice to meet you", "Alright everyone, chill" and every other time Arnie opened his mouth - Batman & Robin (1997)

reply

It's like looking in a mirror, only not

I don't even remember this line and I'm not sure how I don't. That's an awful line.

reply

The worst! lol

reply

I can imagine Borat saying that. "It's like looking in a mirror.... NOoTttt!!!"

reply

Flash Gordon has a lot of those.

reply

At least the Flash Gordon quote was meant to be campy & fun. Can't say that about a lot of the others.

reply

"You had me at hello"

reply

My go-to cheesiest one-liner is from Martin Milner to the girl who thinks breaking up with him is best for both of them. I've cued it up, no need to watch more than the first few seconds

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cjr_YuTV3NM&t=1m30s

reply

But does he end up giving her up?

reply

With a line like "That's fish four days old, I won't buy it" she should have run for the hills. But the end of the movie sees her going back to him. I don't remember if I liked, or didn't like, the movie.

reply

According to IMDb, I've seen it but I don't remember watching it. I gave it a 7.

reply

its a tremendous film. a classic.

reply

John Lithgow from ' Cliffhanger ' 1993

" So you want to kill me, well take a number and stand in line ! "

reply

People got paid for that?

reply

Actually Lithgow carried it off pretty well believe it or not.

reply

Lithgow can make all manner of nonsense sound like Shakespeare. He's a class act.

reply

There is some old Ernest Borgnine movie with a similar line. After a guy threatens to kill him, he responds, “There’s only a few guys that can take me on, and your name’s not even on the list.”

reply

That’s a much better line though.

reply

"You didn't just save my life brown eyes, you made my life worth saving." - Mccormick and Jo Jo

reply

"Frankly my dear I don't give a damn!" But I don't rememember what movie it was from.

reply

It’s from some little not well known movie. :-)

reply

I believe Stallone said it in Spy Kids 3.
