Bands you hate.

Here's mine. Don't argue, these are all facts.*

Imagine Dragons
The Chainsmokers

*May not necessarily be a fact because this is all opinion.

Yeah, you hit on some real trash here that I mostly agree with. I feel like you meant to add 21 Pilots.

reply

Can't name a 21 Pilots song. I guess that's a good thing.

reply

Go listen to Stressed Out and report back!

reply

Terrible. I then clicked on the recommended video "Ride" and it's even worse.

reply

I don’t know that one. Heathens is a real fuckin banger.

reply

Nickleback
Coldplay

reply

I'd rather listen to Nicklefront and Warmplay. I'll leave now.

reply

All.......rappers......must......die.....

reply

No, just the genre.

reply

I like Creed and Nickelback. I know they're not "real grunge" or whatever... I was born in 1989 so I've missed the golden era. Guess what, I still like Pearl Jam and Soundgarden.
Coldplay gets a lot of hate (especially overseas). I know that Chris Martin can be a douche, and his voice is whiny, but they're a solid band, keeping their line up for almost 25 years, and able to craft songs in various genres (acoustic pop, arena rock, EDM).
Maroon 5 is a sad story, I loved 'Songs About Jane', then they turned into sh!t. No excuse there...

I can't think of a band I really hate. I don't like RHCP, I think they're overrated, and Anthony Kiedis's delivery sometimes makes me want to punch him in the face.

reply

To me, Coldplay just sounds so... whatever.

UB40

Every boy band and girl band of the last 30 years.

reply

I'm amazed how anyone can like that crap.

reply

"Every boy band and girl band of the last 30 years."

Exactly . That is ALL we get in the UK , last time i looked anyway - i gave up on the radio and limited music tv channels.
Compared to everything on radio and tv in the UK , the OP's list are absolute GODS

reply

The UK still has some great bands, they're just not as popular as One Direction.

reply

yeah in the 60s and 70s the UK turned out the best in the world : The Beatles / rolling stones / pink Floyd / Led Zep , many in the heavier / metal genre like Black Sabbath , Iron Maiden.
Then Disco arrived , and melted into pop slush
Then , late nineties "festivals" got popular , requiring bands to actually play their instruments and the likes of Kaiser Chiefs, Kasabian , kings of Leon, Arctic Monkeys , the Killers etc arrived ....
Since then its all gone to shit again

reply

Yep, bands who just have four or five average singers (With usually one closet gay) are nearly always too lazy to learn to play instruments, it started with bands like NKOTB and in Britain awful bands managed by Stock Aitken and Waterman, then it only got worse with bands managed by Simon Cowell and Louis Walsh leading the world into a new age of blandness.

reply

I agree with your list except for Van Halen, Poison, Bon Jovi, Kiss, and Motley Crüe. They are guilty pleasures to listen to. I would intentionally never listen to any of these bands again if it meant that I never HAD to listen to any of the other bands on the list again.

reply

They are guilty pleasures to listen to.

Guilty pleasure? Not for me. But we can agree that they're not actually good.

reply

Bon Jovi is the creme of the crop. Poisons pretty decent as well as Van Halen. The OP never mentioned Aerosmith. Anyone who can like those worthless losers is a classless, clueless idiot!

reply

I'm not a huge Aerosmith fan, but they had some pretty good tunes in the 70s.

reply

Nah, it all sucks bigtime. I remember the first time I seen the MTV video to that mock job (not a song) "dude looks like a lady", and I thought "how did this ever get here" (on tv). To this day I hate those losers with a passion.

reply

The legend Mamabella.

reply

I don't know what that is. It doesn't show up on YouTube.
