When artists do different versions of their own songs

I'm usually a fan. I like a lot of cover songs as well, but it's always interesting to me to see an artist with a different interpretation of their own work. It's a shame that some of the best ones are live and not usually released. Thank goodness that wasn't the case with Cheap Trick

This one came across my " FB memories" today. I like it, but I think I like it better played 1.25x speed.

Do you have remix, or a different version you really like?

Sigue Sigue Sputnik released several versions of their one hit wonder "Love Missile F1-11"

Duran Duran used to do Night Versions to their early tracks, which often had a rockier sound.

Whilst the Beatles recorded a couple of their songs in German.

I’ve got everything I’m aware of by Duran Duran on vinyl Up to Notorious. Most would think 4 albums plus Arena, but as you said there is much more when you include singles, live recordings and extended mixes on 12”. I love all the different covers On some of these. The two below are some of my most absolute favorite vinyl finds:

Depeche Mode has so many different versions and remixes for so many songs

I love the Harmonium mix for enjoy the silence as it's so melancholy

Although a lot of remixes aren't the original artist's idea. Like with I Took a Pill in Ibiza.

I read an interview with Mike Posner which said that he thought that the Seeb Remix was really strange to him as the song wasn't supposed to be upbeat at all and was about a sad point in his life and now kids in the clubs are dancing to it.
