REO Speedwagon - Hi Infidelity

Track - Out of Season

Many people dismissed this album for being too soft and commercial. I think it's a great album.

"Sweet Harmony" by The Beloved

Still a great early 90s dance pop classic hit 30 years later. :)

"Let's come together, right now, oh yeah, in a sweet harmony".

And look up its video apparently set in an erotic HEAVEN, lol. :)

Wow. We have such different musical tastes. But that’s OK, we all have our routines👍

reply

I'm listening to Mercy Me.

reply

I had to look them up on YouTube.
They sound good but I’m not a listener of the genre. I’m fairly sure that the lead vocalist did a song with Dolly Parton. I will look that up.

reply

I was incorrect, Dolly did a song called There Was Jesus with Zach Williams. I swung and missed on that one.

"Broken Land" by The Adventures -

Very good 1988 sophisti-pop single by this American band, really enjoyed it.

reply

Actually, The Adventures are more a British band with Irish connections.

reply

"The Adventures were a Northern Irish rock/pop band, formed in Belfast in 1984" - Wikipedia

reply

True, fair enough. Though allmusic site says they are British, one of its members was briefly in an Irish band Starjets.

reply

If from Northern Ireland, then part of UK :)

reply

Nice song, I never heard of them. This song was their biggest hit, #20 in the UK and their only single that charted in the US, albeit just making it at #95.

It’s weird that The Eagles picked up a few haters, I think they’re one of the top rock acts ever.

One of my Dad's favorite bands

A decent late 90s, 1999's, electronic dance trance little hit, have a listen, although nothing too extraordinary.
