I held a baby today at the neighbors house. A six month old boy. He was playing with the buttons on my shirt and then he would look at me and laugh. I haven't held a baby in years. He took a liking to me.

Rock and Roll Radio at ALL times
My garage and tools
Alone time with the Lady I love
Outdoor sports
Cleaning the firearms
My pet Rabbits on my lap
Expressing my love to the ones I love

The smell of rain drizzling on asphalt.
Watching dogs play in the snow.
Squeezing a lime wedge onto fresh tacos.
Performing a pristine soft shuffle on a new deck of cards.
Slicing into a fresh baked pizza.

Warm weather
Long days and short nights
Being able to leave all the windows open and having the scent of fresh air throughout the house
Summer fruits like watermelon, nectarines and plums
Farm fresh corn and tomatoes
The scent of mowed grass
Baseball
Barbecue
Fireworks

All of those except I don’t own a bike

—The sound of sprinklers on hot summer night
—crisp linen sheets
—the smell of clean laundry when it comes out of the dryer
—a basket full of puppies
—the little kiss noise a sugar cube makes when I drop it in my tea
—the reflection of traffic lights on wet pavement at night

The dead silence at 3 am
A piping hot cup of tea
A new bar of soap
Rain pelting against the windows
Wind chimes ringing during a storm
The howl of a bloodhound
A crisp, cold, starry night
A full moon
A flock of geese flying in formation, honking
Crickets chirping on a summer night
Fireflies on a summer night
Hearing distant thunder, wondering if it’s heading my way
Thunderstorms
Seeing an owl in the wild
