This is one of the best movies from the 70s and one of the most exciting cop movies. OP just doesn't like this genre, is my guess.
Agreed. I thought the idea was interesting but the execution could have been better. The build-up towards the heist was huge but the heist was somewhat underwhelming. The movie could have benefited from a longer duration and by fleshing out the characters a bit more.
I'm offended that they didn't have Weinsteinberg direct this movie!
But at least it was historically accurate.
That's a valid point, but I don't know if you have to take it so literally. Clare was having all these nightmares and hallucinations, so maybe we can just chalk up the ending as one that she might have dreamt up.
This was a powerful movie, but, as others pointed out, it can't be too commercially successful. But maybe it can have a solid run on streaming services.
