Even if we buy the "particle beans" allowed Lord to "touch" them, it doesn't explain how HE could HEAR Their thoughts!
Because WW said the lasso not only makes you TELL the truth, it also makes you SEE the truth. So when she had him in the lasso it made him SEE what was happening to his son.
What didn't make sense, was how the hell did Maxwell HEAR the people around the world making their wishes (before he was under the lasso)???
Exactly. Same here
Hating guns doesn't make you "woke". Many rational non-Far-Left loons don't like guns.
And I never once thought of the villain as Trump, and I grew up in NYC in the 80s and know all about Trump.
You're grasping at straws to make this move "woke" is just as bad as actual "wokesters" who look to complain about everything that doesn't meet every facet of their agenda.
The lead was a blond blue eyes white guy. This movie was far-from-woke, and I can't stand over-Woke virtue signalling.
I loved it too. The story had issues but loved the overall look and Gal Gadot was awesome.
Wonder Woman in the 60s could "glide on air currents" so this movie actually is more true to the original than in the 80s when she gained the ability to fly like Superman.
I am not a Miley Cyrus fan, never watched Hannah Montanna, and the fews songs I've heard by her on in stores when shopping I can't stand.
That said, I really liked this episode. Her acting seemed perfect for the part.
The ending was a little cliche but so what? I thought the premise and the execution was pretty good.
i just got to the episode where he says he's in love and I was shocked when it was a girl!!!
I think he's kind of hot though
the "old sport" thing is so dumb. he doesnt' pull it off and I doubt his character would've read the Great Gatsby
I think when she woke up and saw him bleeding between his toes, and then found his drugs and knew he was back using again.
completely! it was distracting.
Wow you guys are great! I always wondered what the "blink" sound was!
Since you brought up Bewtiched, what od you think made 1) the "pop in" sound, the generic "ding" whenever Samantha or Endora popped in? A bell?
And 2) the "spell" sound...... whenever they would recite incantations..... it sounded like 2 things.... like a synth-string bed with something "tinkling" above it.
I just watched that episode the other day. I thought it was odd too, but obviously it was a plot device. It was kind of stupid, especially since the toy soldier could only nod "yes" and not even "no", plus that sound effect was annoying.
Also Endora should've been able to summon Aunt Hagatha or Enchantra (who probably are her own aunts, but that's another thread), but again then there would be no story.
On the plus side, it was nice how Tabitha learned the spell right away just by watching Endora. Erin Murphy did a nice job of combining hand movements with her manual nose-twitch! :)
Larry Tate was good, showing his insecurities come to life.
