SWEET!
What a shame what they have done to that beautiful mountain. All that garbage and human crap and piss and dead bodies.
My father was a combat veteran for the US Army in the Korean War. He was the spotter on an artillery team. He never mentioned anything in his experiences to me about the US Airforce in his experiences in that war but he did tell me that his team radioed in the coordinates to the US battleship to shoot their cannons at the target. He gave me his compass that he used in the Korean War but I lost it a long time ago.
I don't know why but I am watching it right now in 2023 and it is one of the best war movies ever. Gregory Peck is awesome!
Brutal is right. My dad was in the artillery in the Korean War and and he told me about the body parts all over the ground when they later investigated exactly what they hit.
Similar to the guide disappearing, when I was driving through New Zealand, my girlfriend and I stopped at a tiny deserted town with two small buildings. An aborigine appeared in the sand out of nowhere and looked at us, as we looked back at him. Then he disappeared. I walked over to where he was standing and there were no footprints in the sand. One of the more mysterious things that has ever happened to me in life.
Thanks. I'm glad I stumbled on to your post as I have not heard of this until just now. :)
They sure stitched together all that real life footage to great effect.
You got that right about being worse. Look at where the world is 9 months after your post. We aren't anywhere close to being done with this Covid-19 pandemic.
