I always loved that part. Just no second thought to it, he was outta there. As far as he was concerned, being on the bad end of Mick Dundee was a bad idea and he wasn't going to have any part of it.
shareSimilar to the guide disappearing, when I was driving through New Zealand, my girlfriend and I stopped at a tiny deserted town with two small buildings. An aborigine appeared in the sand out of nowhere and looked at us, as we looked back at him. Then he disappeared. I walked over to where he was standing and there were no footprints in the sand. One of the more mysterious things that has ever happened to me in life.
