Thanks. Best answer I’ve read in this thread.
No, you have a failed misunderstanding of what we are advocating for. A man who lives as a woman will not present the same issues as simply letting a regular man enter a woman’s restroom. Liberals support practical border security, understand the true reasons for inflation and how to work within these times, and most do not advocate for defunding the police. Sounds like you need to refine your comprehension skills. When you do that, THEN we can talk. Until then, I will pardon your ignorance.
Bingo, as have a winner!
Proud to be a liberal. But stop being a puppet and actually talk to a liberal instead of believing Fox News or OAN about what we supposedly believe (no we don’t believe in any of those things).
And as for the movie, if you’re one of those that’s so easily offended that you have to ask that question, then yes, it’s woke. Evolve with the times, or die with the past. Its not a choice. The population is getting more diverse over time, so it’s only natural that movie casts evolve with them. That’s common sense.
I went to go pee and to refill my popcorn during the songs.
I’m a Latino and I didnt go watch it in the movies. I just figured DC films didn’t have the same pedigree as Marvel films, so I figured it wasn’t going to be a great film.
But I finally got around to watching it on Max and it’s a good film. Funny at parts and a warm storyline. Too bad DC films are so hit and miss or it could’ve had a bigger audience.
Yes. Our first cat when I was a kid was named Milo. A cute orange tabby. Unfortunately he never made it past kitten as he was eaten by a dog.
This may be one of my favorite fantasy films ever. It ties in wonderfully with the Wizard of Oz and it really brings to life the Land of Oz in a way that the 1939 film simply can’t. My only complaint about how they depicted the Land of Oz is that some of the colors are too saturated to where parts look fake; I wish they toned it down some so it looks more realistic; granted it’s a fantasy land but it could’ve looked a bit more “realistic”.
In a way, this film is more faithful to the books than the 1939 film, so I really appreciate that.
Acting was mostly on point; I love all actors in their roles. There were a few parts where James Franco looks like he’s acting instead of being “Oz”, but mostly he does a great job and in some parts I feel he does excellent.
I too wish there were more “Oz” films.
To be fair, this “teacher” film probably preceded a lot of the future films about teachers that you may have been exposed to.
Guys are generally less shy about their junk unless have size inferiority complex. But Rose obviously wasn’t shy. It’s almost like the cameramen were the ones that were.
I’ve never considered her a Disney Princess even after the acquisition. Anastasia follows almost every classic trope of a Disney princess, but (IMO) there is a subtle lack of quality in this film that is in all of the other Disney princess films (including Pixar’s Brave). It’s not a big difference, but something feels a bit off about it.
Maybe the second by second interval of where in the movie it was?
I would imagine that if they imploded there would be a few minutes where they were drowning in cold water unable to breathe; why do people assume that they died instantly?
Pretty simple. Just tell the population that the previous people were recontaminated and had to go back. They lost their memories to contamination.
Yep. It might not make 1 Billion at the box office but it will come close.
I’ve learned long ago that you need to form your own opinion about a film. Don’t let a critic tell you what to like.
I’ve loved films that are critically acclaimed. I’ve also hated other films that are critically acclaimed.
I’ve also loved some films that are critically panned. So who cares what they think? I guess critic ratings can be used as a guide, but ultimately I hope you realize that your opinion is the most important of all. It’s your experience and your time.
Yea at some point I’m sure they determined that they were NOT virgins. Maybe in a best case scenario they just served to please the officers sexually. As for George, yikes. He was either killed, punished, or made to sexually appease some of the more sexually fluid officers I would imagine. I’m sure he had it worst of all … unless he managed to escape, which I hope he did.
Well of course they are all dead *now*. But I mean in the immediate aftermath of the movie events. Were they really taken to a party? Did they really sing? Did they get to escape? The ending was too ambiguous for my taste, although it was a great film regardless.
It was probably a co-production between a Chinese studio and a foreign (likely US studio) to bypass the strict quota that is set on foreign films entering and being released in the growing China box office market. China is the only market that can hypothetically bring in revenue anywhere close to the US box office.
