I agree. I would religiously watch all four of the Peanuts movies as a kid. In addition to the specials of course and last summer I introduced my daughter to the films in addition to the 2015 movies. And I still love them just as much now as an adult with the exception of this one. It just feels mean spirited in spots, not a lot of humor, and overall, too depressing for a children's movie. Despite how much Lucy deserves the occasional kick in the ass, the boxing match scene was totally cringe. Has its moments but not one I care to revisit again. Still think Boy Named Charlie Brown and Race for your life are best Go away troll. Did you fight in the Sekai Takei? It's not a real tournament clown It's not very good. It just feels like the show has run its course and should've ended after Season 5. A lot of manufactured fights indeed, regressing character development to suit the story at hand, repeating plot beats, characters constantly switching allegiances, Kreese breaking out of jail (which I know was setup the year before), Silver returns, doing Mike Barnes dirty (after giving him a solid return in S5), almost breaking up the team because they couldn't agree on a name (seriously) dopey teen drama/swapping romantic partners, and that over-the-top Battle Royale in the finale. Now I know the Season 2 finale did something similar with the school fight. But this is supposed to be one of the most prestigious tournaments in the world, and we have this over-the-top battle royale after a sensei and his students get caught cheating. I too have competed in many tournaments as a kid, and this was too much for me. This went into full on cartoon mode for my liking. For the record so did the school fight. Just saying it now before anyone replies with "well they did the same thing in season 2" - I didn't care for it either time. It's one thing to have competing sensei's and rivalry dojos and what have you, but this was just everything that karate is NOT supposed to be. Original series writer Robert Mark Kamen understood this as he was a martial artist. Harold and Kumar crew (love them all) but they are not martial artists. Not part 4. But I'll take Rocky 5 over Creed 2 and especially Creed III. Creed III was a travesty. No doubt. However, after the Matrix trilogy it seems like Hollywood kind for forgot about him. It happens but kind of a shame The only plothole in this film was the Cubs winning the World Series in 1990 I don't know I thought Kevin as a college student was way worse. Dude looked like he was pushing 40 Drama and Lloyd He's part of Dicaprios Pus*y posse sooooo not shocked to hear that Unlikeable yes. Yet highly engaging. Ari, Drama, and Lloyd are worth the price of admission for me. They are absolutely hilarious, as are the endless parade of celebrity cameos. Turtle is pretty useless but agree most likeable, and yes Vince is extremely bland and aloof but it kinda works. For me I can't stand E. He's annoying, condescending, and I genuinely laugh out loud whenever he's trying to be a tough guy. It's like bro you're 5'2 109 pounds. Who is their right mind would ever be scared of you? This was my number one gripe with the film. It really makes the Tony Todd cameo at the end basically pointless. It also feels like there is no point to having baby Anthony return if it's a new Candyman, or anyone can be a Candyman. Fans wanted Tony Todd, and Tony Todd was game to return so I don't get it. And if not Tony Todd, Virginia Madsen as the new Candyman would've been cool Not even close How did Kimmel or Colbert or Seth Myers become famous? Right place. Right time He does need a nap It was a descent film. I agree with you. However, that doesn't mean I'm not going to analyze and interpret and critique where I see fit. Way to put everyone who offers up constructive criticism into a vacuum. That being said there was a lot about this film that needed to be fixed. Hey if you don't want the negativity tell the filmmaker to make a better film. That fixes it all Personally, I love Reeves, always have. But some of his earlier roles are hard to defend. Baldwin I go back and forth with. I mean he's good overall, but I can see why my teacher had him pegged. and yes Diaz had always been terrible Titanic propelled him to superstardom, particularly with the ladies. A lot of males were still skeptical. Catch me if you can the haters started to warm up to him. The Departed I feel is the one where everyone was on board.
