Can you name a more interesting (new) character from the prequels? Thats the point I'm getting at, maybe if he hadn't been killed in the first, we get more of a backstory. But instead we just got a spine-chilling visual Sith assassin. The character had the bones of a great villain but we never got the meat. Boba Fett was another wasted character Well for starters Ray Park, the actor who played him was a Martial Arts expert, and it showed in the way he moved in his limited fight scenes. Secondly his nightmarish look was intriguing to most, the fact that he didn't have alot of dialogue was probably for the best, since it added mystique and George Lucas really isn't all that great at dialogue. Your'e in the minority with your opinion.. Right, even to this day he still gets alot of love from star wars fans, and he only had like 15 min of scene time. Sure, I know he still lives on in Star Wars Rebels. But i was just talking about the film version of his character. It was nice and probably the best thing in solo when he showed up. The theater I was at all gasped when he showed up. Yeah, still remember being 11 and going to watch this with my older brother. The movie gets alot of hate but it'll always have a nostalgic place in my heart. Why is a remake trashing on previous films? I always find it kinda funny how outraged people get over remakes. Shakespeare's work has been remade a million times. It's just a retelling of the story. Heck most of music is composed of samples from other peoples work. Kevin Smith has the same theory. With force sensitive people, mainly Jedi being called Skywalkers now. I don't know why they would just drop the brand name of Jedi, it's such a part of pop culture it would feel kinda weird. Also, does that mean Dark Jedi and Siths are also getting a name change? I wasn't expecting it to get put through the wringer by critics like this. I usually don't trust RT or IMDB with their numbers, take it more like a gain of salt. But it's hard ignoring a 12% from RT.. Maybe I'll watch "The Man Who Killed Don Quixote" this weekend instead. 1994 was actually better I think. Forrest Gump Pulp Fiction The Shawshank Redemption Clerks Natural Born Killers The Professional Quiz Show Toy Story Lion King Dumb and Dumber Ace Ventura The Mask Are you talking about the first time he got to pick an outfit? When he shows up at Big Daddy's house? I took it as him not ever having the chance to actually buy clothes, so he just went with the flashy eye popping stuff. It was done for laughs. His outfits after that scene are normal, he even gets to wear sunglasses when riding out to Calvin's. So he went from lame to cool pretty fast. In what world has Hilary Duff gotten overweight and aged badly? I rather like that the characters all seem to live in a gray area. The show doesn't have good or bad guys. it just has people fighting for land at any cost. Is the drama over the top at times, sure. But there is alot at stake, the show is also trying to give a modern Wild West vibe without classic duel showdowns. So i give it a pass with the hyperbolic drama at times. I enjoyed the story, excited for season two this summer. It be interesting to see where George Miller would take the story, since the last shot of the movie was so hopeful for a new future. Also I wonder if the bad blood with Tom and Charlize is something they can work out. It didn't seem like they liked eachother very much from what both parties have said about working with one-another. What else aren't you feeling? Let's get a list going. The genre is listed under Comedy/Drama.. So yeah, expect comedy. That's usually an element in every QT movie, but the trailer did have a "The Nice Guys" kinda vibe. There is a clip in the trailer that does show Charles Manson and what appears to be the "Manson Girls", I don't think he'll want to give away how he'll be using the murders as a back drop to the story in the trailer. It had it's moments, the pay off scene at the end was fun though. Why do people want to blame Millennials for everything? You do realize that no Millennial have been born since 1996 right? Also most Millennials grew up watching Back to the future, ET, Jurassic Park etc.. Your beef is with Generation Z. Millennials are literally in their mid 30s already The music seemed kinda off, but it did look fun.. CGI has also gotten better since the last two films, so that should lead to some interesting shots.
