I think I'd go Venom > Morbius > Venom 2
Did you end up seeing it? What did you think?
Up to a 5.1 now. It's no cinematic masterpiece, but it's not complete garbage either, imo. I'd probably give it a low 6.
Reading comprehension isn't everyone's strong suite.
It's been since release that I watched Suicide Squad, but I must be only the person who didn't hate his joker. It was a different take, for sure, but I thought he did well playing that version of the joker.
That being said, I couldn't help but think the same thing knowing that this hasn't done well and his joker was not many people's favorite...
It wasn't great, but it wasn't terrible either. I know lots of people have a hard time suspending belief, but I was able to do my best and ignore the flaws and it was fun. I'll watch it with my 10 year old son and I know he's going to enjoy it.
Any word on what the spider-man easter eggs were?
Only if it's better than Batman vs Superman
Bobs Burgers is better than family guy.
And it really wasn't.
I think he could have, but given the distance and how serious Angela was, I think he would have gone for it, I think Angela would have shot and killed him.
Rule #1
Great idea
That would have been good, but Harrison would never have understood.
Dexter can justify killing anyone as meeting the code if they are attempting to apprehend him, rule #1 is "Don't get caught."
Do you think Harry could have worked for this season?
"Add to that, as someone in another thread pointed out, the flashbacks to Logan, Doakes, Rita and Deb were exactly like Dexter showing himself photos of his victims. Dexter fit Harry’s Code, and here’s Harry’s grandson, Harrison, to enforce it."
I hadn't thought of that, but it alone makes the ending quite a bit better.
I can see the argument for the lumberjack ending being better, I just finished it so I'm still processing on my own opinion. It definitely didn't end elegantly.
I can live with a small town cop solving things, just because you are from an area and want to stay there doesn't limit you from being good at your job. I did have an issue with the evidence against Dexter, particularly in the Matt arrest, it was incredibly flimsy and honestly made her look like a bad cop for going all in on a note in her mailbox and the screw. Dexter's framing theory was far more likely.
Dexter also should have gotten rid of the screw, I'd like to say that wasn't like him, but he did like his trophies.
Agreed, I also didn't know it was going to be a single season when I started. My girlfriend finished the series before me and when I brought up the possibility of future seasons she said there couldn't be, so from then on I assumed Dexter died and it would be a one off.
