Watching a busybody know it all/murderess is no better, and yeah we know it's just tv. However, I enjoy Heat of the night while disliking Harriet's bossy, always complaining, guard dog of Chief Gillespie's character. As beautiful as she obviously was, what did she have to be so pissed about?! I also find it quite odd that most of the black women on the show were very fair skinned.

I've always felt a closeness between James and Wilona, and yes it added to the sexual tension. She was a hip beautiful and independent woman, while Florida was comfortable in her roll(e) as a housewife and mother.

Damn, just came here to comment on something totally unrelated and saw a pic of the very hilarious Ralphie May. I hadn't heard anything from him in a while and decided to find out what he had going on. I literally gasped at the news of his passing. His comedy and funny spirit will live on.
