Definitely. Much better than I expected.
It’s like in an Ellery Queen novel (or the 70s show), where the story pauses to ask if you know whodunnit.
I love it.
I agree! I didn’t recognize her except her voice, and when I saw her name in the credits I just assumed I wasn’t her. I know her mostly for Parent Trap, Good Morning, Miss Bliss/SbtB, and Endless Night.
Well, his star has fallen even further. He was in some cringey Star Wars crapola, and he has the political acumen of a drunk sorority girl.
Mark gave us Luke and the Joker, at least.
It was very Pan horror.
It’s on YT.
Just saw it and I think it’s a gem.
Definitely something to rewatch. Hilarious at times.
I think it would have worked better if they were better matched. He seemed too old for her or something. Their love is their defining trait and it’s not very believable.
Closest I got was when the ship’s steward Scrubby begged the examiner to reconsider the fate of the young suicides:
“Oh, sir. Please wait. Can’t you do something, sir? I have made countless trips. Always kept silent. Never once forgot my place. But this girl, sir. This great love she has. I must speak up. Oh, please. Please, won’t you help her somehow. Some way.”
It’s top tier Hitchcock.
Well said.
5/10, but in a good way. I’d rather we got real characters and not these one-dimensional nothing characters. Even though they had one characteristic each it was still hard to tell them apart because they were all primarily lame.
Beatrice was the best, though.
Yep.
She can’t act for shit.
Is that sarcasm?
What? Hicks is the best!
You know what, I hate moronic posts like this. We get it: you’re autistic. We know this because you talk about nothing else and go to great lengths to find offense. You’re worse than vegans at this point. Not a badge of honor.
I assume it didn’t perform well. Either that or the writer/lead actor ran out of books to adapt. Or didn’t want to go on with it.
Ditto. It looks retarded without shaping. Surely these action movies have ex military advisors or stuntmen on set?!
Were you bothered the Wicked Witch of the West was killed with a splash of water? Moronic. The Oz books are absurd and whimsical. That’s the joy of them.
What a bullshit post. Not all the sequels sucked. This movie is a gem.
