They would have been better off leaving the body in the car and saying it was a clone. Would explain how he was declared dead etc. Obviously still far fetched but more likely than teleporting.
In a woke film why include an entitled lady being a jerk to someone in a low power/paying service job? You can't go half woke.
I would describe it as a poor man's version of A Walk Among the Tombstones. It just never grabbed me. I thought Rami Malek was a bit one note - he just seemed awkward the entire movie which I don't think the role necessarily called for. Denzel was solid, Leto was fine.
Derek had a wet jumper, elite court vision, top tier speed + quickness and a 45 inch vertical. He was projected to be a top 2 draft pick in 1996 before the incident.
2004 sizings. Google Allen Iverson baggy suit if you want to see a couple of sizes up.
Same here. Too much artistic licence from Eastwood. No way, no how, in any duristiction would she be declared the winner from that knockout blow. It takes a lot to insult the integrity of boxing, Eastwood somehow managed a grand slam there.
He did the same with Invictus where there is an interesting side plot of the New Zealand team suffering food poisoning before and during the match which is complete ignored for a convenient hollywood tale.
I agree on the sports point. We have a weightlifter from the country I live in that lived as a male for close to 40 years and is now out there dominating women's weightlifting. That is an absolute joke.
The bathroom thing I'd imagine is no different to the regular threat any female is under using a public bathroom, unfortunately. I'm sure in some cases crossdressers could relatively easily slip into the other genders stall so I also don't see a common sense way of eliminating that risk even if it was increased.
I'd categorise that as offensive behaviour to others personally. Someone walking around saying call me he or him, not so much.
I'll be referring to Elliot as a he. That's what he prefers. It's no skin off my nose, I'm not religious or in any way concerned with how others live their lives as long as they aren't hurting anyone.
Nolte as Trump?
Lando is going to be single for life now :( No sexbots allowed on PG Disney+.
He takes a risk by letting Eady get that close to him in the first place, his MO is changing from that point on. He talks about being 180 in the other direction of marriage/commitment, but he completely changes that.
It's Pacino we see sprinting down the stairs away from his soon to be ex-wife as the movie nears it's climax.
Yup hard to believe he says he forgives and forgets at one stage of the doco and was serious.
He's extremely charismatic so you naturally want to like him, but he's a long way off redeeming his years of poor behaviour.
Jumping off a bridge and then randomly washing up right where you need to be within 5 minutes of being too late. That was where my suspension of disbelief ran out.
I saw it in IMAX and found it super immersive. I haven't seen it since so maybe it was just that environment that got me caught up in it (in a good way).
Having seen 1917 since this I'm even more sold on Dunkirk as a great war movie. 1917 was way too Hollywood with so many far fetched elements one after the other. Based on a true story but I can't believe it played out as illustrated.
Tenet seems like a real mystery at this stage.
My problem with the movie is the twists and turns reveal such a basic premise. After 2hr15 I thought something beyond the Darth Vader ending was warranted. If it was a tight 100 minute edit I wouldn't have minded so much.
That's the point. It's about transplanting you into an experience of the realities of a day of war, which is far removed from the glorified version we often get.
Not every movie needs a subtext.
Hope they bury him next to his sexbot #luvisblind
