Good question. But, in the words of Jared Leto's Joker: "Their butts must be hurting really....REALLY.......badly." XD
Shhhh!!! Don't tell the Flash! He might zip into my home and punish me with his lousy one-liners that no one finds funny.
Might I suggest...Preparation-H? :)
Yep, I've never contributed a dime of my money to the DCCU, don't worry. ;)
I agree that Cyclops was whiny in the other films but he seemed pretty good in the first movie. EVERYTHING seemed better in the first movie. Well...I hated Rogue but most everything else was great.
^^^^This.
Yeah, what's with that fvcking hair?
What a shame they underutilized the original Cyclops--I actually enjoyed Marsden's portrayal.
I knew as soon as I saw Leto's Joker picture that I knew for certain that I was out. Well...that and the fact that it's a villains team-up movie. What a stupid idea. Some comic ideas are best left on the comic book pages--not in a motion picture.
I never saw Turd League but I've seen Man of Steel, BVS and Wonder Woman and I have to say...that one trailer completely buries those three movies--buries them in unmarked graves.
LOL!!! I feel like we're on IMDB again! I love it! Bring on the salty tears! XD
Yeah, the last X-Men film I watched was Days of Future Past--I just can't stand that franchise anymore--especially because of Jennifer Lawrence--I fvcking hate her. I also don't care for this new "Millennial X-Men" direction they've taken with Millennial Cyclops, Millennial Jean Grey and so forth. I took one look at Millennial Hipster Nightcrawler in the trailers and just went: "No...just...no...".
Maybe I'm just getting old for this sh!t but this teen X-Men sh!t just doesn't cut it for me.
It's been long, my friend...TOO long...*Rubs hands together*
I hope it doesn't happen. I've loved The X-Men since I was a kid (especially the 90's cartoon and games) but I really appreciate how the MCU has showcased all these superheroes I've never heard of before. This series doesn't need any "mainstream" characters if you ask me.
NOW it feels like IMDB--those guys used to mention X-Men all the time when bashing the MCU if you remember.
*Sigh* You guys always go for The X-Men as a way to try to defend the DCCU.
The X-Men series of movies are not a part of the MCU. Try again.
Indeed. The Avengers works far better as a concept because the heroes are all fallible. They are "human" and grounded. Yes, they are superhuman but they all have particular strengths and weaknesses in just the right proportions that serves to balance out the team. With Justice League you have different variations of Superman, basically. There is a lack of variation in most of the team aside from Batman and Superman and Superman possesses most of the abilities that the other individual members possess as a sole power.
The Justice League is a much more flawed concept, really.
Plus, since MCU took its time establishing the characters before the big team-up, we know exactly the strengths and weaknesses of each character. Each character has a relatable quality to them. They found a way to properly humanize the superheroes and it paid off. With Justice League we don't even know half the team and most of them don't have much in the way of relatable attributes/personalities.
That Superman point you mentioned sounds a lot like how The Avengers saved Hulk for the end fight. The difference? The Hulk didn't turn the tide of the battle--just helped balance it.
I've always felt the concept of the Justice League was flawed--long before the announcement of the movie or even the emergence of the DCCU. The Justice League feels like a team of Thors on steroids--not a good movie concept to build on--ESPECIALLY with THESE people at the helm of the movies.
Hello there, Conan. :)
I'll watch the turd for free much like what I did for the other DCCU turds...except for Suicide Squad--I'll never watch that turd movie.
I can't watch the link right now but how would Hugh Jackman reprise his role? Some time skip plotline again? Or, would this be a different "canon" of the character?
Also, I thought Hugh said he's done with Wolverine? Why the change of heart?
I kind of like the X-Men being separate from the MCU--they have their own thing going and it works. They are putting the spotlight on so many unknown superheroes and the X-Men would be unnecessary if you ask me.
Thanks for the visual...
