They never had the epipen handy even at the grandmothers funeral..This isnt my kind of film , but great cast and good performances. But it became almost a lifetime movie for me
I agree with your comments. The son and the mother were great actors.. Peter Gabrielle, the husband, was in the series IN TREATMENT which was excellent, and a far cry from a thriller like this. Im not into these scary movies but the first 45 min hooked me and I saw it thru. Not my kind of flick
I would have liked to know more about emilys brother in jail, why she didnt answer his call from prison. This film couldve been decent. Instead it was an escalation of a night of horror.. Ok fine. But there was no message except a bunch of white women spewing hate. The entire way thru. It fell flat for me. It took an easy and predictable route from the house scene to the boat scene. I would give this a 3 out of 10 rating.

One of the worst films I have ever seen. It was just crap the whole way thru. No point at all.
The minute they tied her up I fast forwarded all the way to the end. Not my kind of flick.

It was slow and didnt tell much of a story..I like period pieces but this one lay flat.. I was surprised to see the fellow that played Ray Donovans brother in this film. Took me a bit but it was him.
I like the series Rome, Dowton abbey, Catherine the Great are all very well done.
Agreed and he took up so much air time he was grating on my nerves.
I agree with your take. It was a tragic accident. Though the kid was an obnoxious character who took up most of the film which was annoying to me. Baby Jane was my favorite film of hers, then second was All About Eve.
Do you mean this series or another? I had to stop this one after episode 4..I just couldnt do it

This site came about when IMDB forums closed the message boards. It was great here until recently... only because there are less people interacting.. I dont mind differences of opinions at all, but its become very quiet here and very few responses to the films.
Just the fact that you refer to gay women as lezbo is really sad.
The end totally ruins it. It was a slow film but intriguing until the last 10 minutes.

Im on Season 1 episode 4 and im so pissed off on how this couldve been a great series, and it totally SUCKS. There was no need for the theatrics. How many car crashes in one damn season? I cant deal with going further but im the type that hates to quit, so now Im twice as pissed now. Sorry for the rant. I hate everyone at the moment.
This thread makes no sense to me. Anyhoo the film was both brilliant and annoying. From beginning to end. I would have liked more details to the story, but the acting was very strong, and both are extremely talented. I still found it annoying too many times during one film.

thank u giving the link.... Boy that Arnold guy sure made tons of inaccuracies all over the place.. The movie Frances is not at all what actually happened apparently. The article never mentioned Harry , who was her long time on again off again love interest who was a big part of the film.
