I see what you're trying to do :-) If I ever date someone who would like to watch this movie I'd do it. But I'm not gonna do it on my own again, nope. That's a good start! I was thinking of Harmy's Despecialized Edition, though :-) I disliked Insidious so much, it felt like a bad Poltergeist :-/ At least it's still out there, somewhere. I have no idea. But Ben seemed to have history with people around here already. So really I don't know. Trolling, I guess? Moderator1 also asked to report all of his alt accounts and said that "Ben is being dealt with". Edit: Found the thread I think a banning trend already started though. Isn't Ben banned? Obvious bumps of swear titles, also he complained about "Gays" not being in the Trending Bar anymore and last but not least, he deleted all of his bumps and threads. He's trying to fly under the radar. He's bringing nothing to the table and he's just an annoying prick, I'd ban him. Edit: I call everyone a guy, old habits die hard. Just wanted to say I found the culprit. Look at his post history, that guy should be banned. Well I never noticed before you mentioned it but on IMDb, ANOES 3 is indeed ranked higher than ANOES 2 (which was a decent flick) and ANOES 4. ANOES 4 wasn't that bad either, if you don't take into account that cringe worthy ending. But I don't know if you've seen it already so I'll keep my mouth shut ;-) Anyway, I guess Dream Warriors is so high only because Heather Langenkamp and John Saxon appeared in it. (Damn, it's also higher than ANOES 5! I really can't understand, but I have no love for Dream Warriors so...) Well yeah, it makes sense. For me Nancy's arc was over at the end of NOES, so I really didn't mind her death here. Even if NOES 3 is when the franchise jumped the shark... It was really satisfying to see almost all of these wannabe heroes (spoilers) die at the beginning of NOES 4. Haven't noticed. Must have blocked them already ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Well, thanks for enlightening me then ;-) I don't think it is, since none of Jim's threads are pinned. But you found it so others will too, we shouldn't worry :-) I feel like I'm missing so many private jokes here... :-/ Ah I don't know, this seems pretty radical. Why not letting them answer to any thread from day one and allow them to post a thread day+15? (In mean on the general board, movie/show boards are fine IMO) This system works on most subreddits. "Vanilla Sky -Open Your Eyes was the original" I'd even say Abre Los Ojos ;-) But yeah I generally agree with you. One of the thing that pisses me of the most in these cases is people being too dumb to know which one is the original. I was browsing the French IMDb once and saw a comment under the movie Quarantine. It went something like this: "Exceptional movie, way better than their shitty Spanish remake, REC." O_O Same thing happens all the time with songs... Oh I noticed the utterly ridiculous way America is making remakes/buying rights of acclaimed foreign movies instead of just bringing them on American soil. I mean, come on, dubbing is a thing. Anyway, as a foreigner, I think this is funny in a way. People calling out such things are silly, ignore them. The problem with movies is that most of us like a great adaptation, right? Because you want to look at this movie and say "see people? That's the stuff I like" (which is why I have a hard time with the MCU, but I digress). It's just a matter of loving the original work too much, there's no racism involved here.
