Whether it's Silence of the Lambs, Godfather Part II or Breaking Bad plot holes can be found in any piece of media. Tom Wolfe's great. Well said. I agree. Incidentally, have you read the book? I haven't though I'd like to as I imagine it's a joy too. Fair enough. I think we agree though that for the most part it's a pretty stellar piece of media. I thought the inclusion of the aliens was a nice touch. After all, aren't there people out there who exploit the hate and bigotry of others for their own profit? Casino Royale Skyfall Quantum of Solace Spectre No Time To Die The mom looks fine. The dad, yes, looks a little old. But the actor playing the father is so great I end up not caring that much. She needs to lay off the Botox. Season Two really sucks once they catch Laura Palmer's killer. But the Black Lodge scenes in Season Two's finale make up for it. Dead of Night from 1944. Shadow Play, Judgment Night, Spur of the Moment and Death Ship from The Twilight Zone. Read the Dune books. Paul is anything but a savior in them. The Rancor arguably looks worse than anything in Dune. The speeder bike scene hasn't aged all that well either. The characters in The Midnight Sun. Lady Bird cost twice the amount of Fast Times. Granted, it was made 35 years later. Lady Bird also grossed 10 times its budget world wide. And it got nominated for, among other things, best director, picture and actress. Love Simon Book Smart Lady Bird The Edge of Seventeen The Kissing Booth The Twilight Zone was one of the first TV shows to have an almost all black cast with the episode The Big Tall Wish. And considering Serling's life long battle against racism and intolerance I imagine he would have made more eps like Wish if not for an uncooperative network and sponsors. Most episodes of many shows aren't especially great. Was every ep of Breaking Bad Ozymandias? Or, The Sopranos Pine Barrens? I think not. You can find a plot hole in anything.
