I remember the original film “Gremlins” had that too. Maybe it’s a shortcut they could get away with in B&W.
Yes- he was forced to downsize his firm. But I feel worse for the employees who got laid off. They are also victims of Kim and Jimmy’s scam.
I feel more emotionally invested in BCS. It deals with a more relatable type of moral ambiguity. I’m never going to cook meth—- but I might do something a teensy bit dishonest if I think I could get away with it. It is a slippery slope.
I live in hope they will be reunited before the end. I though the time jump to EXACTLY the spot where Saul entered the BB storyline was perfect (he thought Badger was public m**bation instead of meth dealing)

I think Kim is in prison. The garish house we see in the flash forward clearly doesn’t have any signs of her presence. And yet, Jimmy’s happy go lucky attitude in BB speaks to the fact that he has something to live for in his life. I think he is feathering the nest for her release from prison, but then things in BB fall apart and he has to flee. His visits to her in prison are discontinued and he has no other contact with her.
I thought the most touching moment was Jack teaching the tween-age Randal and Kevin how to shave.
Yes— and the fact that Kate and Toby broke up was Kate’s decision. They could have worked it out. But the show focused only on the Pearsons getting to have NO LIMITs. Screw everyone else. I mean, Kate should have moved to San Francisco when Toby wanted to. He had a great job and wanted to make a life for the family there. What was wrong with that? Meanwhile, Kate gets to live her dream of creating international music schools for blind children. Guess that keeps her home to be with her kids—- NOT!
Thank you so much. It is overrated. I think Anthony Hopkins was good. But the story was not that great.
I though it was dull. The only good think was we got to see all of Randall’s daughters grown up. The casting for them was INSANELY good- especially Tess. They should have had them at the wedding.

Jimmy may not know that Lalo IS dead at all. Lalo has a gift for disappearing. Jimmy may think Lalo is back in Mexico. Jimmy does not know anything about the Mega Meth Lab.
Yes, I really liked Howard. I didn't want him seeking vengeance agains Jimmy and Kim, however. This was the only way to keep that from happening. So it was kind of inevitable plot wise. Very upsetting.

I don’t think Kim is around in the BB storyline. I think she is “away.” Likely in prison. Otherwise, wouldn’t she and Saul gone off together in the far forward Gene Storyline? I am holding out for a happy ending with them reunited.
Exactly. A 5 year sentence would conveniently get her out of BB timeline, which is ONLY 2.5 years. We tend to forget the BB timeline is that short. But one need only look at baby Holly. The show began when Skylar was 6 months pregnant and ended when Holly looks like she is 2 years old.
