I also loved that moment - it even had a little crowny shape drawn on it. She's precious, I love her!
Ha! You're probably right - perhaps she will finally remember about it in the final episode of the final season... which I hope never comes!
I can just imagine it now, when she takes it off and then tells Chip that she finally remembered that her broken arm healed 2 years ago, and Chip replies "oh, I never knew you had a broken arm".
I just wanna hug Christine!! I don't know how Louie does it, he is so womanly, not in a camp way though - in a very 'real' way. And such smooth skin, I wonder if he needs lots of makeup to achieve that. Most men couldn't pull it off, I have a constant 5 o'clock shadow that would rule me out of the role completely! (But other than that, I'd be the perfect stand-in, ofc).
I have not known anyone like her. But I love her! I love how she has an apparently broken arm that never heals and is NEVER mentioned and as a result, whose cause we'll probably never know. (A bit like the mysterious piece of cloth that Negan always wears around his wrist in The Walking Dead... my chain of consciousness is now leading me to wonder about Martha making an appearance on TWD... as a 'walker' of course!)
I think Dale's character is deliberately exaggerated (well, more so than any of the others) making him crass and unlikeable. But that's his role :-)
I'm crazy about both Christine and Martha!
It was a nearby beach that she drove to. Nothing dramatic happened, she just started doing some simple side-to-side aquarobic exercises, but it was a touching moment.
@jim, I like the new Notifications "bell" that lets one know if there have been comment replies whenever you log back on :-)
Hi @Catbookss, good point - you can't delete your contributions simply by checking the box(es) in that list and pressing the "Delete Selected" button at the bottom of that page. If you do that, you will only clear those items from your history list. And in so doing, you will lose them from the list which will make it almost impossible to delete them.
In order to actually delete your contributions, you need to methodically click on each link in the "Reference" column (it will be a long number, eg. it might look like "170221-130249-205000") then look for your contribution on the next page, and take the appropriate action to delete the contribution. The action will depend on the type of contribution, eg. it might just involve changing the dropdown from Keep to Delete, or there may be other steps involved.
You did good, Jaouad-El! At least imdb makes it easy to see everything you've contributed over the years with their listing at https://contribute.imdb.com/updates/history
I found I could just click on each of them and it brings up the original contribution again, after which I just change the dropdown selection to "Delete", and then click "Re-Check" as usual, after which you get to the point where it asks for the reason. I've been writing various reasons there, eg.
"I contributed this goof some time ago. It has come to my attention that you have recently deleted the contributions of millions of hard-working members (who over the last 15 years have given willingly of their time and effort to build up imdb.com into a major website) despite a considerable effort by members to impress upon you the importance of keeping the community contributions for the benefit of the movie and TV loving public. Subsequently, I no longer wish my contributions to be used for the benefit of Amazon or its related business, Internet Movie Database. Kindly remove this goof, thank you."
Hi CoriSCapnSkip, ah OK well I guess that explains it, if you posted your suggestions to the imdb boards while logged in with your now-deleted account, then they most likely would have terminated it with extreme prejudice because of that!
I was certainly not as prolific a contributor as you, but I have been going through and requesting deletions for my few contributions over the years, mainly goofs, trivia and quotes. Interestingly some of them are being processed immediately, others not. There's no way to force the issue if they don't delete a contribution unfortunately, but I have been giving my reason quite plainly in each case (similar wording to what I suggested above).
When I've finished going through the list I will delete my account, but hey, if they delete it earlier idc because I have backed up all my various watch lists, and there really is nothing else that an imdb account is good for any more apart from watch lists!
BEFORE YOU DELETE YOUR IMDB ACCOUNT - PLEASE READ THIS FIRST!
Go to this page https://contribute.imdb.com/updates/history
From there you can see every contribution you have ever made to IMDb: including reviews, plots, synopses, goofs, trivia, etc.
You need to go through each and every contribution and DELETE it. It needs to be done one by one, and each one will need to be vetted personally by an IMDb staff member, who will either authorize its deletion, or reject its deletion.
[EDIT 14th March] you can't delete your contributions simply by checking the box(es) in that list and pressing the "Delete Selected" button at the bottom of that page. If you do that, you will only clear those items from your history list. And in so doing, you will lose them from the list which will make it almost impossible to delete them.

The action will depend on the type of contribution, eg. it might just involve changing the dropdown from Keep to Delete, or there may be other steps involved. [end EDIT]
Why is it so important to do this BEFORE you delete your account? There are 2 reasons:
1) If you delete your account without having done that first, then there will be no way to delete your contributions afterwards - AND WHY SHOULD IMDb CONTINUE TO HAVE THE BENEFIT OF YOUR VALUABLE CONTRIBUTIONS AND KNOWLEDGE AFTER THEY'VE THUMBED THEIR CORPORATE NOSE AT YOU AND YOU'VE DECIDED TO LEAVE THEIR STINKING SINKING SHIP AS A RESULT?
2) Each time, you will be asked for the reason you are requesting your contribution be deleted. This is your opportunity to tell an actual human who works there how you feel! I would suggest writing something like "Because of your decision to delete the Message Boards, I have decided to delete all of the contributions I have made to IMDb over the years. I have been a member since [insert year here], but sadly it's become apparent that you do not value the contributions of any of your members any more, so consequently I do not wish IMDb to have the benefit of my contributions any longer. I will instead contribute to other websites that value the knowledge, enthusiasm and experience of those who love movies and television." (That's just my suggestion, but you can ofc change it to whatever you want.)
Whoa, CoriSCapnSkip are you saying that your IMDb account got deleted? If so, you know what this means - spies from IMDb are actually taking the time to stalk this site in order to try to figure out which IMDb members are posting here - creepy stuff indeed.
But even if they are stooping to such dismal depths of sub-humanity (and actually, let's face it, they're capable of it because look what they did to all our millions of user contributions that we have lovingly contributed over the last 15 years; plus, they are the biggest web services company on the planet, or if not, then surely only second to google) how presumptuous of them to make the broad assumption that just because you call yourself CoriSCapnSkip here, then you must be the same CoriSCapnSkip as on IMDb!
Thanks jim - love ya work by the way - big thx :-)
Another form of retribution I would suggest is to give their app a 1-star rating in the App Store or Google Play, and make sure you leave a comment to say it's because imdb deleted the message boards so the app is now useless to you.
If you don't have the app installed, you will first need to download it before you are able to rate it and leave a comment. After you've done that, I'm pretty sure you can uninstall it if you want to, and your comment will remain there.
But it will be even more effective if you keep renewing your review each time the app is updated. This is because more credence is given to comments on the latest version - so that's actually a reason to keep the app installed and updated, even if you never use it. Just remember to renew your review each time a new version of the app is released. You can do that just by changing one or two words in your comment.
Finally, be sure to scroll through other peoples' comments, look for all the 1-star reviews, and give them a thumbs-up. If enough people do these things, the app's rating will decline rapidly, which Amazon deserves for f^c#ing with us all.
Good suggestions. Most of my contributions (parts from the vast majority being message boards) were to Goofs and Trivia, which are not so easy to remove, may not be possible in fact?
I second the need for edit/delete, and I also second the need for Search - this was the big major feature lacking in imdb boards, and although it could so very easily have been implemented if the powers that be simply allowed the boards to be googleable, they never gave us even that much.
Some of these may have already been included - time is short so I haven't checked them all, sorry!
