Box office: Will Ethan Hunt escape the Meg?
Looks like the new Meg movie is closing in on this movie at the box office. Will it pass it?

shareIts crazy what is basically a bigger budget Sharknado movie/inferior Jaws rip off has already blown away Keatons return as Batman , and is about to take out Indiana frickin Jones! I know kids/teens/20s even 30y olds don't give a shit but my gen (40s+) seeing Batman89 and Indy get desimated by the frickin Meg, Barbie, and the latest ridiculous Fast movie just feels all wrong! (I get Barbie is its own thing but to see Meg, probably the lowest common denominator action franchise taking out class/quality/legendary/iconic Indiana Jones?!)

On Meg 2 35% of the global BO is from Chinese revenue.
Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny less then 1% of the global BO is from Chinese revenue.
MEG 2 ruled and deserved to take out some of the past classics.. I'm still going to maintain that if the studio would've released this in April or even May, it would've performed better without interference from Barbie, but we'll never know that now will we??
