Kill Bill Vol. 3 is “definitely in the cards”

Would it be a perfect end on his filmography?

No. It should be considered part of the first two because QT considers the first as one film.

If a part 3 is added that still means Tarantino has only completed 9 films and could still do another. :)

He considers it one film because it was originally shot as one film. The decision to split it up into two movies came after it was shot.

There is no reason whatsoever to consider a new sequel to literally be part and parcel of the original in that way.
