I am listening. Is it because he spews propaganda that hoodwinks millions of unsuspecting men, or is it because he recognizes he doesn't understand everything and speaks with very knowledgeable people that can expand his breadth of knowledge and he lets listeners come along for the ride?
Im not a naysayer but its definitly the latter. If anyone thinks he is propagandizing or hoodwinking have never listened to an episode and blindly follow legecy media.
That didn't happen, which means you didn't listen to the episode. I'm sure you caught some out of context clips on TIktok, because you think those video are news, you clown. But I can guarantee you didn't listen to the 3 hour interview and honestly come away with that perspective. Sorry your candidate lost, but she had a chance to do the show and wouldn't. Cope snowflake.

Sorry you’re too stupid to know how a YouTube video works, but you can always go back and watch Rogan fellate Trump with plenty of hockey tooey. Seethe and cry, faget

More cynical drool from you. By your typing cadence I have to assume youre still in high school.
I listen to the show occasionally and it's a mixed bag.
Mike Rowe was on recently and talked about how he was once and opera singer and didn't know Italian. So, there's stuff like that then there's political material, stuff about aliens, drugs, comedians, and so on.
I'm been working out for decades and Rogan's show is like the kind of stuff you talk about at the gym with dudes. It's also like internet forum convos.
I've only listened a few times, all recently. I listened to the first hour or so of his interview with Trump, and about half of his interview with Vance, and then the entire episode with Tarantino and Avery. As such, my opinion is based on very limited, and recent, data.
More than anything, I think his strength is that he asks good questions, and then listens. He reacts like a normal guy, and nothing feels premeditated or dishonest. Most importantly, he doesn't interject his own opinions, or debate his guests. He asks, listens, reacts, and continues. I believe that's the key to his success. He has access to some of the most famous and interesting people in the world, and he gives them a forum to speak. Where many interviewers would push back at, or talk over, guests, Rogan listens, then says, "wow, that's interesting" or, "I never knew that."
With Trump, Rogan's interviewing style let the public get a better sense of the candidate. Instead of being asked leading questions in interviews, and then interrupted or debated, he was able to talk freely and show a side of himself we hadn't seen before. I'm sure that interview helped his reelection. Even more so with Vance. I knew nothing about him, and the only time I'd heard him speak were in media-created soundbites and clips, usually framed in a negative way. Hearing him talk at length about various topics lead to me completely changing my mind about him.
Again, I've only listened to a very small sample of his work, but what I've heard shows Rogan to be an excellent interviewer.
This was a good review and my reaction has been the same.
He follows a very long interview format so, I think the way you tuned in is pretty typical. I usually watch only the highlights via the YouTube channel where it lists time stamps for the discussed topics. I like that he’s willing to listen to people on a vast array of subjects and across the political spectrum. I think he is genuinely trying to get Americans to listen to each other and trying to show us that we can have conversations that help to understand each other.
I don’t know why VP Harris declined to go on his show. She’s a lawyer by training and capable of preparing for his style and he was going to help her through any innocent flubs to which she is sometimes prone. It was a real missed opportunity and it hurt her among his wide audience because he repeatedly mentioned regret over it in several subsequent shows. Trump’s DNA is self-promotion and he understood the opportunity while Harris, I think, deferred to advisors told her not to do the show absent conditions Rogan could not honor. She seemed to follow an overly cautious approach that was successful for President Biden in 2020 but not so great in 2024.
I will say that I’ve had to shut Rogan off a couple times. His “there was no Apollo moon landing” stuff drove me crazy. I was glad to see him backpedal thereafter but I recently heard him semi-backpedal on his backpedal the other day. I understand being suspicious of the government but stuff like that
really does impeach his credibility when he gives other opinions.
I don’t hate Joe or anything. But he’s pretty stupid, just genuinely not very intelligent. He has a lot of confident idiots who come onto the show and spout their bullshit conspiracy theories and he falls for too many of them. Based on how enamored he was with Bernie Sanders and then how quickly he turned on him as soon as the next Republican came onto the show makes me think he’ll basically support anyone. Then, his “high IQ alpha male” fanbase believes anything Joe agrees with because he’s adamant on giving fringe rightwingers a voice.
